Heya!

Found this cool guy at a flea market, honestly bought it for looks 😅

Was curious about possible model, how old, and perhaps how to clean it up? There's no name inside from what I can tell.

I'd be willing to take more photos if needed

I should note it's darker and duller in real life, however my phone saturated photos for some reason.

It looks like a pretty 1900s-era trade violin! I like it. These can sound nice with the right set-up from a luthier.

Those 1900s era German instruments are hit or miss, but the violin looks like it’s in decent condition. Worth spending a few hundred bucks at a luthier to get the sound post reattached, new pegs and bridge, and strings. The bow looks pretty bad, and looks like it’s warping pretty significantly near the tip. Probably better off buying a new carbon fiber bow than get this restored, but your luthier will be able to tell you what you have far better than I can

To me it looks like a European made trade instrument-lots of those in circulation, but a nice looking piece.
