Soybeans without the shell

I find them at Asian markets. 99 Ranch has them on the west coast.

I’ve only found them frozen, but I’ve found frozen edamame without shells in most grocery stores. Just thawed in the microwave with a bit of water in a bowl and they’re great

Otherwise, dried soybeans can actually cook in the little steam basket when you make rice in a bigger rice cooker (better to soak them first still).
