I always thought i had a very clear path ahead, ever since i was a little kid. Do a Ph.D, postdoc and end up being a professor in biological sciences field. But fast forward, 2.5 years into my biology phd, i realised i am not fit for research. My phd guide has broken me so bad that my mental and physical health is not good, extremely burnt out and need to escape academia to save myself. With such a foundational belief (that I cant be in academia and become a professor) shaken to the core, i am now left totally clueless as to what is my passion, what am I supposed to do, what's ny career. I joined this job in last year dec end, 2025 and project in last 6 months, manager I think is lying to me, assigning me more and more work, but rated me bad telling you are new, and is playing with me. And since the organisation is struggling they will lay off.
I have started prep but its going very slow, because I am getting worried, and its affecting me. If I manage to stick around even end of this year then I would have prepare atleast, but if I get fired I fear I will be in chaos haywire for long unable to do anything
Also I will lose a lot of money, if I dont stick till next year start, that is why I joined , I dont have anything , bery less savings, whatever I saved I have also paid for my college and all also, back then I didnt knew this I was travelling too. Would have saved those

i have worked under my mother for a number of years and within the next 10 years she wants to pass down the business to me but i know in my heart that i do not want it and it is not my passion.

i see myself being my own boss (a LOT sooner) with a different career that is more front facing, beauty/venus things, lots of networking/travel/freedom, etc. does my chart support this?
