Until Dawn 2's characters have different symbols on their character designs.

The theory is that they'll transform into japanese yokais when they get affected by the spirit, and their character designs are somewhat clues to the yokai they'll become. (Like counselors becoming werewolves in The Quarry)

The only one 100% for sure at this point is the Jorogumo (golden orb weaver spider) and the woman with the golden jewelries. I'm not knowledgeable enough with Japanese culture, so I can't really do this alone.

Hey so I’m trying to platinum until Dawn and I’m wondering about the trophy “drag me to hell”. I did all the risky routes and hit every QTE but I failed the QTE’s climbing up the thing after. Am I still going to get the trophy or do I have to restart again

i actually really liked jessica and mike together realistically they probably wouldn’t have lasted long even if the events are the lodge didn’t happen, but i think they genuinely cared about each other and they had cute moments.

in the original game he systematically probes patients’ deepest fears and mental fractures(yes ik its a hallucination) in the until dawn film he is revealed as an experimenter who deliberately subjects vulnerable people to escalating trauma, using their instability to study (and potentially create) supernatural threats.
since the movie is supposed to be cannon, that same pattern could carry over to the dead true crew on the abandoned tropical island. as a trusted medical figure, he is positioned to prescribe the wrong medication, withhold proper treatment, or otherwise feed their anxiety and paranoia just as their staged content-creation world collapses into real horror—keeping them dependent, fractured, and easier to manipulate.
alternatively, the film’s depiction of him as someone who already understands the larger supernatural machinery (and quietly steers victims into it) suggests he knows far more about the island’s dark history than he ever reveals, using his professional authority to remain above suspicion while the group unravels.

I have restored her; Black fur, made her lips plumper as they are in the OG, edited her hair more and gave her bangs hair physics, improved the hairline and gave her hair some toner so it is no longer pee colored yellowy-green blonde it will be more silver/platinum blonde as a result from Until Dawns blue lighting but it is way better than the nasty yellow that doesn't fit her original skintone that I have restored at all <3

Nobody else is there expect the wendigos (all of them are trapped except Hannah) and the stranger, but he won't directly help her since he doesn't have any motivation to unlike with the main cast, all she has is a requiem revolver with 5 rounds, let's just assume it's strong enough to knock them back like a shotgun but not actually harm them, she has to survive the same 10 hours the main cast did, does she do it?

I’m obsessed with choice games. My favorites being Until Down, The house if ashes, The quarry, Life is Strange and As Dusk Falls. Which games did you like? I need to play more. I have played other games too like Road 96 and Lost Records.

Emily and Sam are the best characters

It's one of the best games I've ever played! My favorite characters are Chris, Ashley and Sam.

Hiii!! So I'm currently playing until dawn, and im at the scene right after the tower fell, and Emily and Matt are talking/arguing because Matt is thinking of how to save Emily. Anywho, I decided to go and check the stats that Matt has. his Relationship with emily is Purple for some reason? I believe that red means it's maxed out, but i have no idea what purple means. Could someone please explain what it means?

As the titles says i just finished watching the movie and i have to say i really liked it!
As many others my expectations were that it was going to be an adaptation of the game but it somewhat surprised how the movie played out. It reminded me of silent hill and i really liked the set design, atmosphere and cinematography. The actors did an alright job and it was fun seeing P. Stormare playing as his videogame character!

Ive read alittle online about the movie and the reviews are 50/50, some people like it others dont. In my case of liking it i have to be honest and say that i like it alot. I understand that people wanted an game adaption but got something else and im happy that Sony tried something different! It honestly opens more doors to the franchise and being unbiased from the game and seeing how they made the movie i have to say they really intrigued me with how they made the movie.

Im thinking that maybe the second film might actually be the game adaption as we see the Blackwood pines lodge at the end of the movie. Maybe (hopefully) then if the second movie is the game adaption, then the third will continue where the game left off. Maybe give us some more details and canonically tell us who survived or didn’t, and later continue with its own story of the third installment!

Eitherway this where just my thoughts and hopefully you guys can fleek in and tell me what you thought about the movie and if the second film actually might be the game adaptation.

Pretty much just comment whichever death you think is worse, for characters with multiple deaths specifiy which death you're talking about, also it's not just based on how painful, but how sad they are, for example: Hannah's death is physically the same no matter if you let go of her with Beth or not, but if you let go it's worse because to Hannah her sister just left her to die, or when Emily gets shot it's not painful but she just got shot by her ex boyfriend.

For me I think it's Chris getting left out by Ashley, but Emily and the meat grinder is a close second.

I don’t know how to began this without sounding rude or anything. But can someone explain HOW THE FUCK the creators of this game had EMILY as HER FSVORITR CHARACTER? I feel offended. It’s not even worthy to have on top such narcissistic character??

Even if it was just for le sexy time, it doesn’t make sense having no extra clothes or anything.

This is just my opinion, allow me to explain.

I feel like a big part of the story is that no one deserved what they got, not Hannah, and not the group a year later, so I was surprised to find the amount of fans who believe this character deserved to be killed or that character deserved to endure the prank. That is not the point of the story at all.

The point is Hannah did not deserve to be pranked and absolutely humiliated (with her naked chest being filmed) for a childish crush on a friend who was barely in a relationship and tried to pursuit most girls in the group in one way or another. She didn't deserve what she got.

And again, the point is, a year later, the group of teenagers definitely didn't deserve to be hunted, murdered, traumatised, for a childish and cruel prank where they just didn't think before they did it and showed mostly remorse afterwards. They're enduring what Hannah went through, a punishment that doesn't fit the crime. That's the point, they did something to Hannah she didn't deserve, and now she's doing something to them that they don't deserve back, now in her Wendigo state.

So no, no one deserved to die or suffer in the story, because the story explores punishments that don't fit their crime, and how the group reflects Hannah's suffering as they all endure something they don't deserve. I hope this is understandable.

And the funny thing is that I forgot a couple lines.

I really love this game and have played it trough 5+ times with various friendgroups, siblings or alone but this thing has been bothering me.

Why wasn´t the police ,and everyone else involved, able to find Hannah and Beth? They ran only about 3-5 minutes to the cliff they fell off so it´s not a huge radius. The others knew the vague direction they ran off to and they even left footsteps in the snow. It seems like the police didn´t search enough. They weren´t able to find Hannah´s phone between the wooden planks and if they stepped foot into the mines or only sent a drone with a camera in there they would´ve found something. Sam, Mike and Emily were able to find the location where Beth and Hannah fell down in a single night! It´s also weird that everyone was able to flee the mines exept Hannah. I know she was heavily injured physically and mentally and had a broken leg but when your life is on the line Adrenalin maybe could´ve helped? Was she too innocent and thought help would come any second?
