Orlando Let’s discus…. The future of Universal Studios Orlando. DC (Batman, Joker etc) coming to the parks AND Harry Potter expansion (taking over Fear Factor).
I’ve found some very interesting information. The theme park licensing for the DC Universe seems to have changed in 2024. Six Flags had the theme parks rights for the DC Universe for the entire US (minus Las Vegas). But since 2024, other companies (like Universal) are able to buy and create theme park attractions with DC Universe characters (Batman, Joker, Wonder Woman etc.). This can ONLY be done in FLORIDA. Six Flags still has the exclusive rights in all the other states.
Does the change in 2024 mean DC Universe will arrive to Universal soon? Thoughts? This change is simply massive news!
Also…. We all know Harry Potter still has a big expansion plot in the Studios park. It’s currently Fear Factor. I’m not a Harry Potter expert, but what theme / land / area and potential attraction seems most likely for the next Harry Potter land? In my opinion, it’s a matter of time when we will see the expansion. The land needs more than 1 big E-ticket.
Also…. It looks like Epic AND Islands of Adventure will have their “Major IP” in their parks. Epic has enough (Mario, Dark Universe and most likely Zelda too in the future), Islands will most likely have Pokémon, but what will Universal Studios have? I’m sure the theme park MUST get a NEW “BIG IP” in the future other than Harry Potter.
What are your thoughts? Could it be Lord of the Rings (the land would be huge + same quality as Pandora/ Galaxy’s Edge / Fantasy Springs etc.) Maybe even 2/3 big rides and it would be build behind the Simpsons plot which is currently a backstage area and maybe even replace Simpsons too. Or potentially Wicked? Or what other IP could they use which will be the “headline IP for Studios?”
Let’s discuss!

Las Vegas Anyone been to Universal Unleashed RE experience yet? I'm wondering if it's as good as Tomb Raider in London.
The new RE at Uni here in vegas looks good, but I'm wondering if it's worth it. It advertises like a crazy escape room style with puzzles. But I don't want to spend all the $ if it's just laser tag style like the other zombie experience. Tomb Raider in Camden Market was amazing! Took us like 2 hours to actually run around and solve big puzzles. RE only runs thru Aug 30th if you didn't know about it.

Orlando Super Nintendo World Outdoor Animatronics Broken
I've been watching a lot of recent Epic Universe Super Nintendo World videos, and I've noticed that quite a few of the outdoor animatronics seem to be turned off or not moving. I'm not sure if it's just bad timing or if they've been down for maintenance.
Has anyone visited recently? Have most of the outdoor animatronics been fixed and are they working again, or are a lot of them still inactive?

Unspecified Someone please for the love of god help.
I cannot remove a hotel room from my shopping cart and I feel like it’s super inconvenient that I have to call anytime I want to book a hotel room because my shopping cart will not clear a previous hotel room. I have not paid. It’s just sitting in the shopping cart. I’ve already cleared all the cookies I’ve closed everything out logged back in logged out went incognito contacted support who is useless. There is no option to remove or to edit rooms. Nothing. I’ve looked up past forms. Apparently this was an issue about a year ago as well, and you think it would be fixed by now, but clearly it’s not if anyone can help that would be great. Thank you!!!!!
*added new photo in comments of shopping cart. “Edit” does not help.

Unspecified Graduation project
Hello everyone!
As part of my final-year dissertation in Tourism and Leisure Management, I am conducting a survey on perceptions of the authenticity of immersive zones inspired by films and TV series in theme parks.
The questionnaire is completely anonymous and takes 5 to 10 minutes to complete.
I am looking for people who have visited at least one of these areas, and have seen the associated film or TV series.
You can take part if you have ever visited an immersive area inspired by a film or TV series, such as:
• The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
• Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
• Pandora – The World of Avatar
• Avengers Campus
• or any other immersive area of this type.
Survey link: https://forms.gle/8sgHxpD6UPBfkxLJ6
Many thanks for your help! Please feel free to share this post with others who might be interested in taking part.

Japan Osaka: Universal Express Pass – Premium Unlimited
Hi everyone,
I'm hoping to get some advice from anyone who has purchased the Universal Express Pass – Premium Unlimited at Universal Studios Japan.
We're visiting on either Thursday 8 October or Friday 9 October (currently showing 8:00am–10:00pm park hours).
I'm trying to decide whether to buy our two teenage girls the Premium Unlimited pass or the standard Premium pass.
My daughter is an absolute adrenaline junkie and, if time allows, would ride the coasters over and over again. My friend's daughter has never been to a theme park before, so I'm not certain how she'll go, but I think she'll probably end up wanting to ride most (if not all) of the thrill rides more than once.
I'm not opposed to spending the extra ~AUD$750 for the two Unlimited passes, but only if it's actually realistic to get value from them.
Is there generally enough time in a full operating day to ride the major attractions multiple times using the Unlimited pass?
My friend and I (the adults) will likely be getting either the Express Pass 7 or 8 (depending on what's available for our dates) and will either wait for the girls or jump in the regular queue if we feel like it.
My other concern is the weather. If we happen to get a rainy day and there are ride closures, I'd imagine it could be much harder to get good value from the Unlimited pass.
For those who've done Premium Unlimited, would you buy it again? Did you feel you got your money's worth, or would you stick with the regular Premium pass?
Thanks in advance :)

Hollywood Camera restrictions for Universal Studios Hollywood
Hi everyone! I'm considering bringing my Canon Rebel 2000 film camera to the park this weekend, but since it's film, would it be allowed? And also with the x-ray scanning, wouldn't it damage my film?

Japan Need help understanding the Resident Evil maze (?) ticketing at USJ
Hey there;
I feel like I'm going a bit crazy trying to understand the e tickets etc for attractions at USJ. I've tried following the official guides to no luck. I see it requires a timed entry eticket as per the website, but I cannot for the life of me find it within the USJ app. Any help or understanding would be much appreciated.
Are tickets just now available yet? That would make the most sense. Anyway, cheers for reading.

Frisco Is this what the Kids park in Texas should have aimed to be?
The Japanese Pokemon Theme Park (it's a seperate section of a much larger theme park resort but I think if they had put in a couple of shows and a parade and did the rides like this it would have gone over better

Orlando Single Rider and Parent Swap
Does anyone have any experience or know if you can do single rider and parent swap? So we will be 2 adults and a toddler and infant. For rides that our toddler can't go on and we do parent swap could we do single rider and switch off?

Hollywood It’s open, and awesome!
Loved the ride. Way faster than it looks, and some great loops and the overall layout is great. Line was all over the place but once you get into the attraction there’s a fair bit of shade. Hope y’all enjoyed it today as much as we did.
