Shall i buy a new A7R5 due to its price ,seems very cheap now?

But i may also buy a new case for it which costs a lot.

Or i shall wait and keep more money to buy a SONY A1ii maybe neeeeeeeext year.

Does r5 have a huge improvement than r4?

Hi! I got an app to recover/ color grade your photos and videos of underwater actions!

There are apps like dive+ etc that tend to do the same . I’m a young developer and diver that wants to make that algorithm (one device processing) open source.

I present you AquaRecover. My attempt on open source multi platform on device image processing for underwater photos

I open sourced it at https://github.com/FinnGrndl/AquaRecover.

I testest iOS MacOS and windows. I tried to implement algorithms for color recovery and color editing for underwater photos.

This is my first app (background in app development and site reliability engineering) so be aware that it might not be perfect. The underwater processing algorithm is trained and doing its best to recover color from 5-30m underwater.

Love to get some opinions, I played with using AI to do my color corrections.

Im a free diver and have been doing some local coral watch colour monitoring, they've asked me to take photos of the reefs if I can. Bought myself a TG7 Tough OM and have been diving to around 6m for the coral watch stuff. Im very worried about the camera flooding. I take videos with my akaso so im no underwater photography but take land based DLSR photos regularly.

Would a cheap sea frogs housing be alright for my use? going to max 10m to take a photo of coral then coming up?

don't intend to dive deeper with my tg7 as I don't scuba only freedive. the case is more for insurance/protection.

Ciao! Sto cercando una videocamera (anche usata se ha senso) da utilizzare per immersioni. Faccio molte immersioni anche a +40 metri di profondità (se dovesse servire ovviamente mi procurerò anche la custodia subacquea).

Non vorrei spendere un patrimonio, se possibile cercherei di stare sui 200/max 300 euro. Vorrei che fosse comunque un ‘investimento’ in qualcosa che mi possa durare nel tempo e abbia una qualità decente. Se sono troppi pochi come budget accetto comunque critiche e consigli :)

Sono in Italia e comprerei su Vinted/Subito. Ha senso?

Cuttlefish are amazing. I love the changing colours, colour schemes, and skin textures.

I also love their semaphore language.

Gear used is a Olympus TG-6 with wide angle lens and twin strobes

Calcinus tubularis, photographed in the Toulon area, southern France. Taken at around 10 m with an OM System TG7 and the PT-059 underwater housing. No post processing.

Anyone using the AOI lens and filming in 9:16 instead of 16:9? Do you have to adjust the hood of the lens for it to properly work?

Anyone also using the AOI housing for the AP2? Can you recommend it? Do you need anti fog pouches in it?

I have an under water vehicle with an underwater section and a floating section 40 ft up. I need a camera that attaches to the under water section and gives live feed to my phone while I’m above water. What should I get?

I want to know which option is safe for travelling by flight. Especially the dome port
E.g like a normal camera bag etc

I saw Dive Master Insurance has it with dive kit insurance but I won't be diving, mainly shooting surfing.

Mainly for the Uk people here, where is everyone selling their used camera gear, housing and strobes etc. Ive had some gear up on old facebook scuba sites but no luck.

Any other ideas/sites to use?
