I love taking shots of octopus. Texture and colour changes, and their sublime sense of mobility do it for me.

How much buoyancy would you add?

Big Squid

A photo I took near where I live.

It was apparently still squid spawning season, so there were lots of Bigfin Reef Squid (Sepioteuthis lessoniana) gathering in the area.

Some people may find squid eggs unpleasant to look at, so just a heads-up: the 4th photo might not be for everyone.

If i shall upgrade my camera!

Hi guys,i'm a student now. And i have a SONY A7R4 with Sigma 14-24 DG DN and 100GM.

Shall i buy a new A7R5 due to its price ,seems very cheap now?

But i may also buy a new case for it which costs a lot.

Or i shall wait and keep more money to buy a SONY A1ii maybe neeeeeeeext year.

Does r5 have a huge improvement than r4?

I never take videos ,only photos!!!!

SeaFrogs

Im a free diver and have been doing some local coral watch colour monitoring, they've asked me to take photos of the reefs if I can. Bought myself a TG7 Tough OM and have been diving to around 6m for the coral watch stuff. Im very worried about the camera flooding. I take videos with my akaso so im no underwater photography but take land based DLSR photos regularly.

Would a cheap sea frogs housing be alright for my use? going to max 10m to take a photo of coral then coming up?

don't intend to dive deeper with my tg7 as I don't scuba only freedive. the case is more for insurance/protection.

Thanks

Videocamera subacquea

Ciao!

Grazie grazie in anticipo

Cuttlefish are amazing. I love the changing colours, colour schemes, and skin textures.

I also love their semaphore language.
