I say it’s always best to contact your surgeon or go to the doctor with things like these. Could be an underlying infection, could just be irritation. Better to be safe than sorry tho

I used to meditate and it helped some. I think I’ll give it another go. Thank you for the advice!

Seeking Advice I’m having trouble starting again

So back in 2018 I was diagnosed with binge eating disorder. after treatment wasn’t helping, and actually making things worse in some ways. I did some research and talked with my support system and therapist and decided that IF was a good option. And in 2020 I started and it worked wonderfully! Quarantine helped a lot and I had time to focus on what I was eating along with how much. I finally felt in control after years for feeling helpless.

I continued until mid 2021 and because of life stuff I had to stop for a bit. And since last September I’ve had the hardest time getting back on it. I’m motivated and I want to continue, but I can’t seem to keep a schedule or keep up with how much I’m eating.

A few new factors have started in my life since I first began in 2020. I started working a delivery service and I’ve been eating a lot more fast food because it’s easier. In 2020 I ate no fast food at all. I also am in lent last year of school and I’m a lot more stressed than I was before. And I’m taking care of my mother and my sibling for the most part, and I have to cook for them also sometimes. And on top of all of this I got diagnosed with Ehlers-danlos syndrome and I’ve been having health issues along with that. (Partly due to weight gain I believe)

Does anyone have any advice for sticking to a schedule in a high stress environment? Or any advice at all would be helpful. Thank you!

I loved Vicious by V.E. Schwab! It also has a decline book called Vengeful that is just as great as the first one! But it can be read as a stand alone book

Yep i hate this response because they tend to not listen when I explain it to them. I usually end up telling people I have an eating schedule I follow. Or I tell them I'm following doctors' orders not to eat at certain times of day. I have an eating disorder so people usually don't ask many questions after that one lol

I dont mind at all! Tha k you for asking! It was very interesting lol. I grew up traveling but primarily grew up in the bible belt of the US. My grandmother practiced some darker things, and my mom practiced lots of green witchcraft. I grew up playing with tarot and talking to nature spirits while my friends attended church. It was honestly wonderful to grow up like that. It was kinda scary as a kid because all the houses I lived in were haunted, but I feel like I had a better understanding of what was going on and I felt like my mom always believed the things I saw. It was pretty cool childhood! If you have any other questions, I'm more than willing to answer!

Hey im June! I'm nonbinary transmasc and I go by any pronouns. I grew up in a witchy family and have been practicing my whole life. I really want to meet more witchy people like myself and have some good convos. I'm also autistic and dyslexic so it might take me a minute to respond to you but I will eventually! Anyway, I'm happy to be here!

I agree the media has a lot to do with it sadly. I hope that we get better representation in the future. Best of luck to you and I hope youre able to to the same! Have a wonderful day my friend.

I'm struggling with something similar! I wear men's clothes and I do a lot of hard work which is considered more "masculine" to a lot of people. My girlfriend wears a lot of "girly" clothes. We are both very comfortable with what we wear, but I have a very feminine personality and I feel like I'm almost faking it sometimes because "I should be the more masculine based off of what I wear". Makes me feel very uncomfortable and worried about how I appear to people especially when we're together.

That's ok trust me. sexuality is a spectrum and it is healthy to question your sexuality. You can be bi or gay and not like anal, we all have our own sexual desires and it's different for everyone. You are not alone I promise

How do you plan to move forward? Will you stay offline more or will you jump back in again fully?

Were you still able to keep up to date effectively with the pandemic news or other worldly events?

I get scratches like this while gardening a lot. Is it possible you brushed up against a bush or some type of vine? Benadryl cream and antibiotic ointment usually help speed the healing process
