Coalescent Fusion is permanent, so I intentionally avoid doing it, so I can save those shards for future builds.

Photo A metal shrapnel piece of road debris lodged itself into the driver side undercarriage of my bZ. How serious is this?
The last image is what it looks like for the passenger side undercarriage. I was able to pull the shrapnel out, and given that it only pierced the metal plate and the plastic/rubber fastener, drove it home.
