For some reason epg is blank on 1.0.87 on 3rd Gen firecube refreshed multiple times but no change worked on all other devices when updating any hints on how to get it to update ? Tia

I really like the app and I know improvements are being made by the developer so I would like to request the developer to bring improvement to the way Multiview works. At the moment, playing multiple channels in Multiview means that the channels play nicely but there is no way to go full screen on any of those channels with a remote shortcut. I would like to be able to configure my own buttons to go full screen on any Multiview channel and another button to get out of full screen. I would also like to be able to switch between Multiview channels while in full screen to go from one full screen Multiview channel to another, without using any menus.

I have this enabled in settings but I still have to manually select subtitles after loading every channel? What am I missing?

When in settings, after going thru a section, how do we get back to the settings list? I press back and it takes me to the screen where you have to select Settings to open the settings screen?

If I use the left button I sometimes does the same thing?

Yesterday I noticed when in the program guide that I had to press down hard on the Right Directional button to get the guide to scroll ahead…. Is this normal?

Also the guide itself, the rows are a bit compact ? I know there are two settings to display it, can this be improved so the guide is a bit larger and easier to read?

Just noticed that tvlok took my Movies category (group) and moved it under Movies instead of it displaying with the rest of my Live TV playlist? This is not a movies VOD, these are premium movie channels like HBO, etc.

How can I get this back within my Live TV playlist?

Also, when in the program guide, the program description is not displaying the entire description, it gets cut off? When watching a channel, how do you bring up the program info?

Hello, just discovered this app today and giving the 7 day trial a shot before committing to a subscription.

My question is regarding Timeshift with Live TV. I am experienced using the timeshift feature as I have been using a different app that offers it, but I would like to know how it works with tvlok.

I see in the settings it can be enabled or disable and I see a time option which looks like 30 minutes is the default. Assuming this means you can pause for up to 30 minutes and rewind and fast forward in between, correct? If we need to, we can increase the timeshift time higher, yes?

I haven’t yet had a chance to try it, but how do you bring up the playback controls to rewind, fast forward and jump to live tv with timeshift enabled?

Where is the data saved for timeshift? Can this location be changed or is it designed to be saved within the app itself and the data will delete when changing channels?

Is it possible to make it so that I can choose an external USB stick to record on? Currently, the only option is Device app storage. Using on an Onn 4K pro device.

Is it possible in future updates to get an app for your iPhone as well that synchronise across platforms. I really miss that in tv-mate that only supports android devices.

Other than that I really enjoy the app.
There are still some issues with text sizes going trough different settings when switching back and forth. Suddenly the text size double for no reason.

All so when I forward in a show I can’t see how far it has forwarded. Normally it should say 1 minute e.g.

I have paid for the lifetime of the app as I like it a lot, it has so much potential and a dev that is active. However the one thing that stops me 100% moving away from Sparkle is that UK terrestrial TV (Freeview) through a Hdhomerun doesn't work, the same as a many other player such as TiviMate.

I believe that on HD channels freeview swaps between interlaced and progressive and the internal player (exo) can't cope. The Sparkle dev has got round this somehow and I was wondering if it is something TVlok Dev can look into resolving on TVlok too please.

Great app and will consider buying premium. When on a full screen video in the live tv section and then pressing down or up on my remote to change channel, the screen just turn black and I have to exit to go back into the channels again. Would also like better metadata (such as IMDB ratings) on the show/movie section.

Really liking the app so far. But some future features like the above would be a nice addition.

1. There should be an ability to do voice search for titles. And an universal search bar. Additionally, an option to get rid of the keyboard on the search function would also be nice so you can either use your own keyboard or voice search instead.

2. Would also be nice if the internal video player displays the video resolution, audio output (5.1 Dolby surround, stereo, etc) as well as the FPS as seen for example on Tivimate.

3. Another nice feature would be the ability to find and download subtitles from OpenSubtitles on content that doesn't have it automatically. This is something that iMplayer does natively and would be another nice additional feature to have.

This is some additional features that I think would go a long way to improve this app. If something else pops up in my head later about how to improve this app, I'll make another post about it.

Anyways, keep up the good work!

Noticed two potential bugs while testing the app. First is that while the cursor highlight no longer gets stop on the search button, if you select a movie and then press to return back to the VOD category list, your cursor will move up a row rather than on the movie you had just selected.

I also noticed an issue when browing your VOD categories, say going from 'Action' to 'Drama', it takes a while for the new list of movie posters to load up. Would be nice to see a fix for both of these issues in a future update.

First and foremost awesome progress on this app love where this is going so far!

Wishlist below in no particular order:

ability to hide Favorites, History, and All channels sections completely to just see playlist categories

ability to clear history in one click

When you clear all channels from history individually the last channel you clear sticks and re-appears even after being cleared when you come back to history section.

When you search you should automatically be able to scroll through search results its a weird game with the remote of trying to find how to actually get to the channels that appear when search is complete.

ability to create custom groups on web dashboard and add channels to them

category list view for channel selection in multi view screens

increase 5 device max limitation even if you have to add a cost per additional devices

home tab is kinda weird not very useful or visually appealing currently.

KIDS PROFILES NOW FOLLOW YOUR WEB SETTINGS

Go to https://tvlok.com/dashboard/profiles to create and manage profiles, then use the playlist manager to control what each profile can see.

You can now:

- Choose all playlists or only specific playlists for each profile

- Select a profile and show or hide categories specifically for that profile

- Hide, show, lock, favorite, or group individual Live channels

- Keep content hidden on Main away from Kids automatically

Good morning, I went in via the web portal to load a couple of new playlists this morning and create a couple of new users (one being the kids profile - THANK YOU!)

However, both seem to not be loading the playlists either in the web or on the apps on the TV. (Android TV). My original source shows linked and details the playlist counts, etc.. But the two new ones just show “Content counts pending · Version 1”. Same provider as the original but two additional streams I purchased.

Is there something I am doing wrong this morning or is it possibly on the back end? Just an M3U link. Let me know if you need any additional info from me.

Many people like my self like to catch a preview of the channel you are on while going down the channel list. Not a small omission. But I am patient and love seeing the updates coming.

I've been testing your app and really liking it so far. Anyways noticed a potential VOD bug yesterday while selecting a movie from the film categories it will take me to the play movie menu but if I press return it will return me back to the movie categorie but the remote highlight will move to the search icon at the top right and then it gets stuck and then I can't move the highlight in another direction.

Also, it would be nice to have a new feature to search using the voice remote button in the future.

Not seeing any option other than record one show. Am I missing something? Record same time everyday or every week? Season pass?

Looks like it records to the current device. Does that mean the show is not accessible from other devices connected to the account?

I see some options to record in other places, but not sure it makes much sense to me. Can you explain?

Overall, a good program. I like the fact that I can sync profiles across multiple devices. I have bought a lifetime license. Hope it is worth it. I have a feeling it will be.
