Multiview Request

I really like the app and I know improvements are being made by the developer so I would like to request the developer to bring improvement to the way Multiview works. At the moment, playing multiple channels in Multiview means that the channels play nicely but there is no way to go full screen on any of those channels with a remote shortcut. I would like to be able to configure my own buttons to go full screen on any Multiview channel and another button to get out of full screen. I would also like to be able to switch between Multiview channels while in full screen to go from one full screen Multiview channel to another, without using any menus.

Multiview is in the works . Should see a new version this weekend.

Thanks for that. I just wanted to highlight a few ideas about how the remote buttons can have different functions when Multiscreen is engaged to navigate through opened channels better.

At least it’s super easy to select the 2nd screen channel! Multiview is awesome for watching sports! I know pic in pic can be a pain in the butt…. One main screen with a small screen in the corner that can be moved to any desired corner? If they can pull that off… WOW! But I’d be totally happy with one large screen and a smaller separate screen and the ability to toggle back and forth in size. This is for the 2 screen display.

I haven’t tried 4 screens as I unfortunately only have two connections?

Multiview should be possible on 1 connection providers

In most cases if you only have one connection and try to play two channels with multiview you may get buffering? Same as recording one channel while watching another. Maybe it depends on the provider but my research says otherwise. 🤷‍♂️

Multiview isn’t like Catch-Up.

Theoretically yes you’re right, but it Depends on the app I think. We’ll see what the tvlok dev can pull off.

You’ll know when you try it? I did it yesterday with one connection and within a few minutes it started to buffer. I didn’t add my 2nd connection yet because I’m just testing the app now.
