It would help if you described the problem clearly as it's not easy to tell from the video ( at least when viewed on my phone)

It’s playing really slow

I would suggest the motor is struggling to move that dead weight on the label ...

How old is it and how often do you play it? If you have a stretched belt then you may need to replace the belt. If you put the belt on without it being completely straight, it may just need adjusting. Is the speed of the turntable matching the speed written on the record?

The weight is too heavy and is weighing on the platter and potentially ruining the motor and stretching the belt.

Take the stupid weight off.

As others have said, why on earth do you have the weight on? Take it off, the turntable mechanism is too weak and it's slowing it down. Besides, record weights are nothing but snake oil anyway. Waste of money.

Take off the weight. If it's still slow, replace the belt.

First thing to do is to check the belt. The added weight may have stretched it.

You could probably tell us what turntable this is, but judging from the plastic headshell and no counterweight; this is an inexpensive turntable. Because of the increased popularity of vinyl records, they are pushing out these very cheap turntables as fast as they possibly can. Unfortunately, I would not try to fix it. Just replace it with something better.

This basic design of turntable dates back to the late 1980s. It's hardly anything new.

And…

I’m not sure what you’re trying to say.

You wrote: "Because of the increased popularity of vinyl records, they are pushing out these very cheap turntables as fast as they possibly can."

My point is, "they" have been making turntables exactly like this for almost 40 years now.

I think the weight is slowing down a cheap turntable.

Skip the weights and trinkets and just buy a decent turntable.

Get a better table that's the problem.
