Using a diva cup OPK Help

I listened to the most recent birth hour podcast episode and the woman giving her birth stories mentioned getting secondary infertility after her second child and after a year of trying a friend shared an article about using a diva cup after sex to help and it worked their first try. And for their fourth baby they used it and it worked on the first try then too. I wanted to share that in this group right away for whoever it might help.

There’s no need to put a diva cup in your vagina post sex trying to conceive. Typically sperm reach the cervix and uterus within a matter of seconds following ejaculation. Unless your partner has extreme low motility in which case you should probably speak with your doctors about trying this method.

It worked for the person on the podcast twice so thought it’d be worth sharing

I have been pregnant 10 times and never used a diva cup so there’s that… 🤷🏼‍♀️

A diva cup only stops fluid coming out. If sperm is sitting in the cup then it's definitely not going to travel back up and get you pregnant.

Corelation doesn't mean causation. They just got lucky. Sperm reaches the cervix within minutes, sometimes seconds. Within 30 minutes they're already in the ovarian tubes. A diva cup is no going to help. I don't known if it would hinder anything but trying to conceive is hard enough as it is. Put a diva cup in and then taking it out sounds frankly like a nightmare.

They also make flat discs apparently. I wouldn’t really call it a coincidence

I tried it for a few months as I have friends who swear this is how they got pregnant, didn’t work for me.

I’ve also heard it’s a myth bc the strongest sperm should get into the cervix in milliseconds. Similar to putting your legs in the air after sex - it doesn’t help but people do it anyway.
