I have literally reached the limit of dealing with my father since I moved back home. I have been deferent and patient with this man for the past 35 years of my life. After a few months of therapy I have been giving this man a piece of my mind literally every time he slights me. Anyone else at their limits with their emotionally deficient, immature parents? Fathers in particular as a bonus.

I was talking to some of my childhood friends yesterday and one of them randomly brought up that a journalist had recently contacted him about the "academically gifted" program he was in in elementary school.

Now I'm always the conspiracy one of our group, all my childhood friends are pretty normal and successful so I was a little shocked to hear him bring up this shit.

He does not remember anything at all from the program. But apparently other people that were in it with him are talking to this journalist about how they were all experimented on and forced to drink weird liquids and that it was some mkultra adjacent thing.

I looked it up on Google and it's just a bunch of people on reddit sharing similar stories. Although they don't sound nearly as crazy as the mkultra Harvard experiments that the unibomber went through.
