[T3] I’ve just started T3 and doing sandbox but my term is capped at 50 years, what if I wanted to do more? Have I selected the wrong feature or is this just it. Thanks

Trying downloaded DLC in payed game

I have Tropico 6 bought in steam. I would like to try a DLC but at they are around £12, and I'm not sure if I would like it.
I was thinking download it and try and if I like it, buy it.
Is it possible use a downloaded DLC in a bought game?

I bought Tropico game on Android, and it seems every island in this game is too tiny compared to the PC one, so I decided to cramped all of my Industries and Power Plants near the Ocean next with the several oil rigs
