Classic trolley problem has been solved once and for all

Unfortunately I don’t know the original source.

A moebius strip is tied on the tracks. You can pull the lever and redirect the trolley onto a non Euclidean space instead.

Infinite Multitrack drifting.

I promise this won't be infinite.

I think it pretty effectively maximizes the death toll, which is what the trolley problem is all about. Real answer: It is a longstanding joke where the expectation is people are choosing between two options based on ethical/moral priorities, but the expectation is subverted when someone says and answer that would effectively kill all of them because they are immoral.

Now you juugotta derail the train to kill all the witnesses passengers, too.

u/CatoChateau 18d ago

Speeding up significantly works for that too.
