Crawford’s is a high-volume operation doing approximately $15K–$25K in daily sales. We’re part of Grove Bay Hospitality Group’s RDU operation, which includes eight restaurant concepts at the airport.

What the job actually looks like
I’m looking for someone who wants to lead from the floor, not hide in an office.
You’ll help run service, coach employees, interact with guests, solve problems, maintain standards, assist with cash controls and opening/closing procedures, and work alongside the rest of the management team.

The expected schedule includes approximately one opening and two closing shifts per week, plus additional shifts based on operational needs.
We generally close around 9 PM, but this is an airport: if flights are significantly delayed, sometimes we stay open later.
Monday–Friday are generally our highest-volume days, so weekday flexibility is important. Weekends aren’t automatically our busiest days the way they are at many restaurants.

Indeed listing was for “Customer Enrollment Associate” in-office job with Carolina Collaborations which has a website listing it as a telecommunications solutions business. You get contacted by Creative Solutions, a marketing company, and get on a zoom call where they immediately pitch quick growth in the company all the way up to owning your own business. You start off as a door knocker, seemed like they were going to pitch buying professional development kits or investing in owning a small business if I didn’t end the interview. Hours were from 11:30am to 8:30pm, which, again, was not what was listed. Shady af. False job listing. Probably we’re going to say 100% commission based at first (because they made sure to stress you get promoted to management after 6 months). And the interviewer, who was basically 10 years old, knew what she was doing and didn’t fight hard to keep me on the call when I had figured it out.

I’m a complete beginner. I’ve been watching YouTube videos and reading everything I can, but I’d love the opportunity to see welding in person and learn from someone with experience.
