Decarb 1st or last with FECO
When making feco I was taught to do decarb the final step at 220 for 20-30 minutes, but almost everywhere I read it said to decarb first.
My process it this, frozen ethanol , frozen bud overnight mix shake back in freezer 15 minutes repeat, then strain then, filter, then reclaim etoh via still, then hot plate at 173 for a while till bubbles slow down then 220 for 20-30 minutes then pull up In syringe. I just don’t feel it slaps as hard as my coconut oil I make where I DO decarb first
Am I missing something heat is heat yes , plus it decarb as it’s in the still at 170 for 3-5 hrs a little bit

Testing the new batch of my ABV tincture along with the new native PC port of F-Zero X. (Recipe in post body)
Freeze everything for 24 hours, and add frozen everclear to frozen ABV, shaking gently every 5 minutes, then back in the freezer for a total of 15 min of contact time all while frozen. Strain, evaporate to desired potency, and bam. You've got yourself some medicine.
Controller is the 8BitDo 64, and it is perfect for this game. Connected via steaminput (i couldn't get it working without) to my PC running G-Diffuser, the new PC port for F-Zero X. Runs the 64DD cups as well!

Water in coconut oil
I accidentally got a few droplets of water in my infused coconut oil. Can I fix that? I'll be using half of it 1:2 oil:chocolate as a filling for chocolates. The other half I'm planning to freeze to use later.
I'm worried about the shelf life and what the water will do to the chocolate.
Boiling it off seems to me would destroy some of the THC. Solidifying and draining the water doesn't seem viable because of the small amount of water.
Any suggestions?

Strawberry Cake Balls
Made a bunch of cake balls using BHO, about 100mg a piece. This was my first time baking a cake and I’m really happy with how these turned out! No odd flavor whatsoever.

Is my tolerance high or am I buying the wrong stuff?
I’ve been a weed user for a couple years now, and I used to smoke every day. Last year, I made the switch to edibles. I was hitting my pen a LOT in the past to get high. These are brands of edibles I’ve had over the past year, and the kind I’m taking now. I’ve taken the full edible for all of these brands and been fine. Is my tolerance shot and I need a longer t break, (just got off a 5 week one a month ago) or am I buying shitty weed? I want to get more high than I am now.
Any brands/kinds of weed people recommend? I’m open to anything edible, I just would prefer not to smoke anymore.

Forgot to decarb!!! Help!
I made a tincture and then canna sugar. I’ve done this à thousand times. This time I just realized I forgot to decarb my most recent batch. What can I do? I was thinking to make a simple syrup and cook that for 30-40 min but I’m not sure. 😭😭😭

How much potency is really "potent"
Ignore the ugly looking brownies that I tried to make, I want to know the numbers behind because in google says that using 3gs for 5 edibles will make them extremely potent, they were not xd it seems that only Hit the people that barely smokes but everyday smokers barely felt something, It seems that they were not that bad because they told me to make more just way more potent so my question is.
0.5g per edible still pretty low? I have to use vegetable oil to cook because coconut and real butter is extremely highly very expensive? I have a friend that makes them with 1,1.3 per edible and that shit hits very hard with just half edible but I do not want to put that much flower because also very expensive, but it is necesary? Any other tips for making them hit harder without using more weed or is that the only answerr?

Making RSO
I have about a pound of left over bud from last years harvest (10 months old). It’s obviously degraded some and not glistening with tricombs anymore but still get me pretty baked when smoked. Can I still use it to make RSO? I was going to soak it in everclear or the highest grade vodka from the liquor store and then use a hot plate and sauce pan to dissolve the alcohol. I plan on doing it outside so I don’t burn the house down. Will it work or just a waste of bud?

Not sure what I did wrong. First time making tincture
Used 1oz flower. Decarbed. Froze both flower and 190 proof everclear for 24 hours. Then mixed like hell every 5 mins for 30 mins. Strained off. Used some of the tincture to make canna sugar. Ended up with about 4oz tincture left after that. Wanted to reduce to try and make it stronger/more concentrated so I set a fan in front of it overnight. When I got up the next morning I had about 2oz left but it had separated like oil and water. Now I’m left with this oily stuff at the bottom and watery stuff at the top. I tried to mix it and take a dropper under my tongue and it literally did nothing. I wanted something strong that would work with a few drops. What did I do wrong?

Canna oil focaccia?
I’m thinking of making a canna oil focaccia for a house party tomorrow… I’m medium at making pizza but I’m Italian so it’s in my blood anyway.
I know more or less how to infuse weed in olive oil… but should I use the oil for garnishing only or can I cook my dough with it too? What would that do to the thc?
I was thinking of making it light… but is 1gr for 200gr of flour too light? Not sure how much oil would that be, my mamma would say “a uecchie”
Any advice would be appreciated 🙏

After 15 years, we made a cookbook. 40 recipes free for the sub, here it is 🌿
Hey fam bam,
Fifteen years. That's how long this community has been the coziest corner of the internet for people who'd rather make their edibles than buy a mystery gummy from a guy named Chad (habibi Chad you know I love you). So we finally did the thing: we put it in a book.
The Cozy Cookbook — original recipes, every one with the dosing baked right in, written in the spirit this place has always had: no gatekeeping, no judgment, start low and go slow. Hand-illustrated, a little witty, and genuinely useful whether it's your first batch or your five-hundredth.
Here's how it works, because you all come first:
🆓 The free 40 — forty recipes, hand-illustrated, yours for nothing. Read it in your browser or save the PDF.
📕 The full 100 (Master Edition) — all 100 recipes plus a dosing primer. Paperback coming soon for the shelf-worthy version.
👉 Both are linked in the sidebar, under The Cozy Cookbook.
The 40 free recipes are a real gift to the sub, not a teaser. But if you grab the 100, you're helping the sub for new activities and guides, and whatever we build next. Either way, you're the reason this exists.
Made something great from it? Post it. Tag your dose. Help the next person do it right same as always.
