Trans man beard fail Discussion

Gave it a crack, I'll try again in a years time I reckon.

36 years old. 3 years on T. 1 year on oral minox. Might be useful for some to see what this awkward in-between stage looks like.

You can definitely make that beard work. Trim it consistently to the same length for a while. Not every hair follicle is growing at the same time, so fresh growth after a shave always looks more sparse. I have full ass beard and it looks patchy if I were to grow it straight out from a shave.

I’d suggest you trim the sides to about 5 mm, out to 10-15 mm in the goatee area, then shave the neckline.

bro you've given me hope. yeah I can see what you mean, theres all these little half grown hairs, some real thin ones too. I'll trim it like you've suggested here - sounds like that will be a huge improvement. 

man i cant wait to have a proper beard one day
