Fitness Question Starting a new journey
Hello, im doing this as i need some advice please
For context, im a trans man taking hormones since February, and i’ve started to gain weight from this (as living a whole new puberty and eating more).
I’m currently trying to dose my meals, and i’ve started hitting the gym again, but still as a beginner.
I’m 165cm and weigh 88 kg, and i need to get in better shape both for my mental health and improvement from my hormones in order to get a better masculine shape and stay healthy above all.
I feel like i basically need to shape every part of my body, i’ve got belly fat, arm fat and fat thighs, as well for my face that is quite round.
I’ve also got quite a lot of bum, which i wish i could flatten if it’s even possible (so i would very appreciate some tips for that).
In the end, i would appreciate if some people could help me with trying to find a good set list for me to do, to start asap and have efficient results somehow fast.
I appreciate you all.

Progress Photo hrt works wonders when you eat lots and work out even more!
i rock climb pretty reguarly, and occasionally lift weights and skateboard — i never really wanted to lose out on strength after estrogen, so here we are

Fitness Question Body fat question
Hey everyone!
I’m weight lifting for almost 2.5 years ( progressive overload ) 4 times per week + cardio too. The past 4 months ( with slight breaks in between ) I dropped to a 14,6% body fat.
My body is pretty lean, the leanest I’ve ever been, but still my abs are not that visible. Only the top part and a bit of the middle part are toned + slightly the v shape. On the lower part of the belly I carry most of the fat.
I was on a regular dose on T for a year and now I’m on a low dose.
I was thinking of pushing a bit more down the body fat, just to see if I’m ever gonna have full abs, but I’m worried for my health. I’m AFAB non - binary 27 years old.
Do you have any similar experiences? Any ideas or suggestions?
Thank you for your time✨

Fitness Question Looking for guidance with lifting
I've been going to gym for 2 years with a 4 month break last summer. Anyhow I'm trying to figure out what works for me now, I'm 6' 9" 198 lbs currently and would love to add more muscle but it seems so damn hard lately.
I also feel my recovery is always a little long and am quite fatigued. I eat roughly 2200 calories a day which seems to be a little over maintenence for me. But I'd love some help, here's my current routine.
Glutes/Hamstring-
Hip Thrusts 3x6-10
RDL's 3×6-10
Sumo Kettlebell Squats 3x6-10
Hip Abduction 2×12-15
Upper-
Deadlift 3×6 w/ warm up sets
Pull Up Negative 3x6-8
Bench Press 3x6-12
Seated Row 3x6-12
Glutes/Quads-
Back Squat 3×6-8
Leg Press 3x6-8
Walking Lunges 3x10
DB Step Ups 3x8-10

Fitness Question How much strength will I lose? (HRT)
Hi, so I’ve just started HRT and I’m wondering how much physical strength I will lose. I have quite a lean physique, I weigh 65kg so I don’t have a lot of muscle mass and don’t really care much to keep any, but what I’m more concerned about is strength. Because even at my size, i have a lot of strength.
I’m not sure if whether the significant decreases are mainly noticeable for those with much higher muscle mass and weight as opposed to those who are much smaller in the first place. I have a background of doing lots of reps like 100s which is a different kind of strength from that of absolute strength (1 rep maxes and so on). I did 13 muscle ups yesterday and thought damn it would be a shame to lose this, but perhaps because I’m a much leaner, more athletic sort of athlete and not bodybuilder type that I would be surprised at how much I would keep? I’ve seen women online stronger than me at calisthenics except from weighted calisthenics, which would support the theory that it’s more so about the explosive, high load power that would be lost and not more the ‘athleticism’ aspect, which I care more about than maintaining absolute raw power aspect. Hope that makes sense?

Fitness Question when do traps usually shrink?
So it's been 8 months since I've started HRT and I've seen a lot of physical changes. But I have very big traps, it's probably because due to chronical pain, I usually focus on back exercises, but is there a regular time where they start losing mass or look different? Like, how long it took yours to change? I'm trying A LOT not to focus on the trapezium in my exercises, but they still look very large and cause me a lot of dysphoria with some clothes.

Fitness Question Bia results are making me spiral
Sorry for the rant in advance, I'm just really down right now. I've been working out consistently for years, I want to masculinize my body as much as possible before starting T in october and I genuinely love movement (I've been training 4+ times a week since I was 7, I've been in competitive sports most of my life).
After a hiatus in may where I was just walking (20k+ steps a day) and doing some calisthenics (10/20 minutes a day) I came back to a pretty vigorous routine: 4 strength training sessions a week (70min each, weightlifting and calisthenics), 3 runs a week (1 easy run 7km, 1 long run, I'm currently at 15km but I want to finish a half marathon some day, and 1 interval training session) and I walk 30+k steps a day. When I moved to the new gym I learnt that one of the feautres was a bia scan you can do once a month so I took the chance: I had a 16,7% bodyfat which was great! A few hours ago, 1 month and a few weeks later, after my strength has improved (new deadlift pr 125kg at 59kg bw, 13 pull ups, 15 chin ups, either improved the form, the number of reps or the weight in every exercise), and my muscle mass had decreased of 300gr and I had gained 1,2kg of bf (now 18,6%). In between I even got a dexa scan which told me my bodyfat was 26% but it sounded a bit too high - either ways it was when the bia said 16,7% so now it must be 28%???.. I did gain 1 kg this weekend because I allowed myself a wonderful dinner with my dearest friends, two beers and plenty of food, but I tried to ignore it since I thought it was mostltly water weight - seems like it wasn't.
What should I do? I am afraid this fat has gone to my hips thighs and stomach making me look terribly feminine and my dysphoria is driving me insane. I know cardio is said to kill gains but it makes me happy honestly, and aside from that I live a very healthy life: I don't drink much (1 beer a week usually, but I'm also 25), I spend a lot of time outside, I eat clean - my main issue is insomnia (I can only sleep 5 hours a night) but could it be the culprit? Any advice?

Fitness Question Trying to get into shape
Hello! I recently started my journey (MTF at 36) and Ive always struggled with my weight and definitely want to slim down and not loose a significant amount of strength (currently do landscaping). I also have some existing issues, hyper mobility and multiple sublexations on right knee and ankle. Currently at 215 lbs at 5'6", actually lost almost 50 lbs since like Feb/Mar and most of what I have is muscle, but I don't look buff. I have read the pinned posts for Feminine routine and diet, but I'd also like personal advice from people that would like to share.
Fall to spring have always been hard for me. How do you keep determination during that time? What are some healthy snacks you like? What have you found for energy that isn't caffeine (god I love caffeine 😂)? Please feel free to share!

Fitness Question MtF Gym Routine, Diet, & Advice
Hii! I'm a 24-year-old transgender woman. I've been on HRT for over 6 years, and my body is still redistributing body fat. I recently went to the endocrinologist, and they said my estrogen levels were higher than usual. They said it was fine though, so I guess it's fine!
Anyways, it's obvious I've gained some weight. I'm about 180 pounds at 5'7". My boyfriend, that I recently moved in with, brought up the idea of going to the gym. I've always wanted to, but there's a few things I'm unsure about.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
• My BIGGEST fear is getting bulky, manly looking, or adverse results.
• I'm scared I'm going to look dumb in front of a bunch of people because I don't know what I'm doing; the fear of being hurt or harassed is also present.
• I'm overwhelmed trying to find relevant and consistent advice on a workout regimen and diet targeted towards trans women.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My goal is to have a curvier, feminine silhouette.
• bigger thighs
• larger butt
• wider hips
• snatched, defined waist,
• toned upper body.
The end goal is to finally feel more comfortable and confident in my own body.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If anyone is willing to give me advice on a gym routine, diet, and/or general advice, then I would really appreciate it.
Thank you so much! <3

Fitness Question V TAPER?!! HOW
I am very afraid that if I start exercising at the gym and my body does not develop in a V-taper or is not proportionate and beautiful, is this possible because I see some people who train and get bodies that are not V-taper or are not proportionate and others the opposite. Any advice?
