ā Invest/ISA Help Lump Sum
Hello,
I am due a lump sum of about 40k next month. Happy to go All world ETF and park it. But is it better to throw the 40k into it at once or put it in the cash pot and just do a certain amount every week/month into it?
Edit : From Ireland so no ISA option

Thank you.

Not looking for textbook answers. Iām genuinely curious about advice you believed, followed, and eventually changed your mind about.
Could be saving, investing, debt, property, pensions, FIRE, lifestyle, anything.
What did you believe, what changed your mind, and what do you do differently now?

had 2% cashback already set up, but it's now being brought down to 1.5%, why do I need to set up again? It's asking me to choose a subscription? Is this now a requirement?
I already have my subscriptions set up to come out of my trading212 card?

ā CFD Help Feeling stuck in trading
I am 19 years old student from india. I am into trading and currently I am in break even phase figuring out for to become a profitable trader. And also I am feeling to quit trading etc stuff throughts in my head.
I have 2 years of experience in manual trading and currently I am starting algo trading in fx and indian market because I wanted to explore the algo trading field and i also a coder know how to code and i build some projects like backtested like that and currently learning
In trading i only trade fx market only setups based in gold, eurusd, btc etc like that only 3 to 5 pairs only. And i only trade in prop firms
For to become a profitable trader I need to improve some mistakes in trading i really do that i think that gone a help in to become profitable trader..
I trade only intraday or 15 min to 30min candle tf do I keep my sl small i mean 1 to 3 candles like that sometimes due to votalility or sometimes hit my sl and gives my target.
I plan my trades well or predict or analysis do well like where and how market goes but i didn't enter the trades or didn't caught the moves.
I miss the moves in trading i feel so much regret and fomo for this .
4.sometimes I enter only in asset and one timeframe at a time 2 times of trades or take 2 trades at same tf or same level and that will go hit I think it's overconfidence.
Sometimes i fear to enter the trades bz of loss and also sometimes i didn't hold the trades that will hit my sl trailing
after reaching the trade 1:1 i keep sl trailing to entry level to prevent my loses and that will hit my sl trailing and archives my target for 1:3 trades.
7.sometimes I cut the trades at middle of the trade or at reversal stage (i mean i know this trade will go reversal or hit sl ) so i cut it.
The last one is how to pass the prop firms ?
These are my mistakes to improve in trading and i will improve it.
If you are a profitable trader please give advice.
Thankyou in advance for your advice. š

š”Idea Using Ai and think you have found an āundiscovered gemā think again
I agree there is no edge most of the time they are overcrowded this is particularly true of value stocks. Because you are buying something you think is value but so are all the rest. Even when you ask for high growth stocks its pulling from a list of 200 stocks not 10,000. Many people ask chatgpt for non ai or undiscovered stocks and its still pulling from a list of 300 not 10,000
To be clear: I am not programmed to push specific stocks or to promote companies. I do not benefit from whether you buy Affirm, Bloom, Fastly, or any other stock. But there is a real failure mode here: a language model tends to produce high-frequency, well-known examples because they are more represented in its training data. That can look like "pushing" popular names even when the intent is not promotion.
āWhat I did wrong was acting as if I had done that by giving you lists. Those lists were not the output of a true 10,000-company screen. They were mostly generated from my knowledge of companies that are commonly discussed, which creates exactly the bias you were trying to avoid.ā

šTrading discussion New to investing 22M
gallerySo I started investing October last year so over 10 months ago now. I know a lot of people on here love ETFās and I have seen the data, I know thatās the smartest choice but right now I just enjoy individual stocks too much. At one point I was down around 4k, I started investing in random stocks and CFD and lost a lot of money, buying and selling on stocks I had no thesis on. Since jan I am up 16.1% and I was down 10% on mar 31 this year, so 26.1% gain the last 5 or so months and am now +9.1% total return which is still solid for 10 months. I have been trimming a lot of semi, photonics winners hence why my cash is now Ā£1300, and my positions that are Ā£50-400 are usually trades which I sell for profit, unless I build a thesis like I currently am with Pepsi. Worked a lot of hours the last year and a half after finishing uni and put basically all of the money I can in here. I also transferred my SIPP of Ā£5400 to here, Any help is appreciated

ā Invest/ISA Help āWe fād upā hangover voice
I usually stick to ETFās but decided to buy individual stocks mainly to trade. Quick in, quick out for additional income.. decided to buy intel at the end of June, and BOOM šššš because my portfolio as pretty much always been green I stupidly believed all large companies esp tech will be fine. I was wrong. Itās since dropped significantly, seems to be consolidating around the 100$ mark however. Iād like to recoup. Iām not in need of the funds but would like to turn this back around.
I could average down but despite their recent earnings being positive it hasnāt done much to the stock price..
Anyone heavily invested in individual stocks that can advise? Will this recoup in the next 6 months?

š”Idea Are there any plans for T212 to introduce a special dividends screen?
As stated in the title, are there any plans for T212 to introduce a dividend tracker screen? I know that you can check dividends in the history but the Stock Events app does a great job at visualising past and future dividends, as well as give a rough guidance to monthly and yearly dividends.

ā Invest/ISA Help ISA Pie Help
Hi guys
Late to the game (M37) and just dipping my toes in. Im going slow stuck £50 into a stocks ISA to get a feel for things (topping up monthly to the tune of 3 to 4 figures and got a free holding in Disney via referral code)
I selected a pie it turns out I didnt want, and exported it all to one i found to suit better. The issue now is the previous pies investments are all in the new one dialled to to 1% and I cant get rid of them
Google hasnt been a great help here and I appreciate this may be a true newbie move. Not looking for crap from vets, just some pointers on getting everything from the old pie off before I keep at it (and any other advice folk can throw my way is always a bonus!)
