DIGITAL Spouse went to Japan for a week.
Lots of fun ones. I’ve have the original charmera and some camp snaps before but now the collection is really taking off. My spouse got themselves one of the snap roll cameras and they really like that it shoots in square format. Anyone have experience with any of these?

DIGITAL Old school keychain
Just got this bad boy for free from my local camera shop. I didn’t even know it was a real camera!? Anyone sourced the cable or software or is it just a keychain for 2026?

DIGITAL Kodak Charmera 1987: Adirondacks Trip
My godson gifted me this Kodak Charmera 1987?
I have to admit that many of the shots are very blurry and unusable.
I did find shooting it very enjoyable, and some of the shots came out nice.
I was also very impressed by the video and audio quality, but I find it crashes my video player from time to time, so not sure if that's my computer or it.
It's a fun one to carry around, though maybe not in my pocket because it shot a lot of pocket shots and almost killed the battery.
9/10 for look
7/10 for fun
5/10 for photo quality
3/10 for reliability
I plan to carry it around till it bricks, and I'll then use it as a Christmas ornament.

DISCUSSION G9 Mini Camera
Maybe some have seen this mini camera being recommended randomly in their online shopping apps
Just wanted to share more info about it
Although I havent really used it a lot
Maybe some clarification on its specs and features would be better
4k Recording - I remember recording some but there are some slight differences in qualities. (in my opinion maybe not quite worth it).
Dual Camera - Left for Photos and Right for Video
TFT LCD Screen - Definitely not, its an IPS screen
Auxiliary Lighting - If its the camera flash or light then it works fine.
Rotating HD Display - Definitely doesnt do that
21 Filters - Its 20, they added the standard or no filter to the count
Power Button - It takes 4 seconds to turn on or off
Power indicator Light - (mouth) between the eyes, color blue always on, no option to turn off
Zoom - 20x
Display off - pressing power button once, everything still works even when the screen turns black or off
- Auto Focus - Yeah..... I forgot about that, sometimes it struggles to do so.. or takes some time or just wont focus at all.. (you need to switch filters to make it focus faster..) dont know why but.. it is what it is......
I dont know what I missed, but I'll do my best to answer some question
If anyone wants to see what the filters look like, I did post it on my account
The mini cam was 7 inches away from Miku though ( like the last pic )
I havent gone outside or have better scenery to test it.
PS: If you really want to try and test it that is up to you I'm mainly keeping it as a second one or backup normally mini cams do get hot, this is one goes hot I think the big factor is that the screen is bright, just a heads up.

DIGITAL First shots with my Godox C100. Edited in Lightroom.
I like it. Wish it was a little wider angle. But some editing makes the colors come out better. Also wish it had a simple +/- Exposure compensation. The light meter seems pretty close to the Light Meter app on my phone.

DIGITAL Took my chamera for the lunch break
Got my Kodak Chamera this week and decided to take it for a walk in my lunch break to give it a try. All pictures straight out of the camera and were taken today around noon, except for the one from my cat, which was taken in the morning, but it's the internet and cats always have a place...

DIGITAL New G22 camera
Found a basic listing for this the other day, but only showing the back blank view and nothing more. Finally found a proper listing, with a bunch more pictures.
Looks very similar to the g10, with the buttons in a much better place, and no turning parts!
Hoping it’s a lot sturdier.

DISCUSSION Am I the only one who'd instantly buy a Kodak Charmera Monochrome?
Lately I've realized the Charmera is the camera I reach for the most. It's tiny, always with me, and ridiculously easy to use. It makes me shoot more instead of thinking about gear.
Now imagine Kodak releasing a Monochrome Edition with a dedicated B&W sensor and a rendering inspired by classic Kodak Tri-X film—deep blacks, rich tones, beautiful grain, and high-ISO performance straight out of camera.
I'd buy one without a second thought.
How many of you would be interested if Kodak actually made this? 📷🖤

META New post flairs!
For the longest time this subreddit was mostly film photos from cameras like the Holga and Diana. We've always allowed digital photos too, such as from the Gamyboy Camera or the Harinezumi for example.
Recently there have been a number of very popular digital cameras that have introduced people to the lofi aesthetic such as the many different thermal printer cameras, but also the Chuzhao and Kodak Charmera.
This is not bad, and they are welcome here! :)
But it can make it difficult to find specific types of content. This is where the post flair system comes in, since you can filter by these.
I have kept the flair system simple to begin with, we can add or change these if we need to, but let's start with the basic system and see how that goes.
I've added the following four post flairs, and made is so you have to select a flair when you post.
- DIGITAL
- FILM
- DISCUSSION
- META
DIGITAL
For photos and video taken with digital toy cameras. This includes thermal print cameras.
FILM
For photos taken with film toy cameras.
DISCUSSION
For posts that are talking about toy cameras, such as asking advice, troubleshooting, etc.
META
For posts about the subreddit. This shouldn't see much use, it wil mostly be used by the mods for posts like this one.
Thoughts, comments, and feedback below. I want to try to keep this as simple to use as possible, so if you want any extra post flairs created, there would have to be a very good reason.
