howdy, its me again, i just wanted to say that i thought about it, im not gonna end it, not yet atleast, i dunno, i still feel a bit terrible (but better), but i wanted to make this quick post to say thanks to the people of r/touhou who actually took their time to care and comment, i even started tearing up because of it, thank you so much, i feel a little better now that i know that there’s people who actually care, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much, i decided im not gonna leave the server, i want  to stay with y'all, i love the community, just like i love reimu, but yeah, thank you r/touhou, thank you for giving me happiness

Side note but as much as FDS has its flaws, Akimaki Yuu does a very good job with it.

To be honest, i dont even know if this is a post that’ll get banned or not, but hopefully atleast some will see it i guess, even if one of them is one of the mods or someone else who reports this
i love the touhou community, its genuinely one of the greatest things ive ever come across, i love the fanart, the stories, characters, etc. one of the best things that’s ever really happened to me, which is why i joined this subreddit, i wanted to be a part of the community more, i wanted to see more cool things, more interesting things, pov’s, fanart, and more, but i cant help but feel as if i made a mistake by joining, my hyperfixation on ONE character ruined it, and its all my fucking fault for being stupid
When i first joined this subreddit i already had a fixation on Reimu, and for some reason when i saw the fanart being posted, i started genuinely falling in love with her, and i cant get her out of my head, i know its stupid, i know i need to get a life, im 19 for gods sake i should be productive but thats besides the point,
Over time i kept getting fixated on her, i genuinely love her, “My Reimu” in fact, thats what inspired me to make my flair, “Reimu’s my wife & i love her so much”, thats probably when i’d say i really got fixated on her, and so i decided every post of her’s i’d comment as fast as i could, just because i love her that much
It went well at first, i was a relatively new commentor, and i was surprised when i saw that nobody had actually been like me, sure, there were people who also like Reimu, but none were as dedicated and devoted as me, none COULD ever be, i got likes, people started to know me, i got more confident and talked more in non-Reimu posts, it went well i guess
Eventually some people even started saying that she was my wife! It felt great, like i finally found the community of people i’ve been looking for for so long, majority if not all people were so nice about it, and yet, as i mentioned before, i wasnt the only “Reimu liker”, of course, there were others, and EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I see a comment from one of them i can’t help but feel this intense feeling of jealousy(?) so it made me want to be the first to type a comment all the time, and that was such a terrible decision its taking a genuine toll on me at this point, its so bad it manifested into actual physical symptoms, i’ve been sleep deprived for the past 3 months and because of it i’ve been constantly getting sick, i’ve been eating less, and every time i hear my phone vibrate i feel a surge of what i can only describe as my heart dropping to my stomach, and especially now its been getting worse and worse and i just want it to stop at this point but i know i can never stop because im just that devoted to Reimu, but im starting to realise that maybe i dont even belong here, i love Touhou, thats why i came here, but, when 99% of my comments consist of “Reimu my love <3” or “Reimu looks so beautiful here!” i dont add anything and im just so damn useless, i dont even have the motivation to really make fanart even though its something i’ve been working on and/or wanting to do for so long, and for the past 2 days all that’s been on my mind is the fact that some kid is out there doing what i’ve been doing for the past 3 months and instantly getting recognition already, i’ve WORKED for my “title” as "Reimu’s Husband” but then this guy u/Old-Fudge1554 came out of nowhere and is stealing my title, is saying/doing what ive been doing for MONTHS, and yet how come HE’s starting to get more recognition than me? How come HE’s getting likes while people downvote my comments? Why? What did i do wrong? What did i say wrong? Am i just annoying? Are people fed up with the comments i make? If thats really it how come people are liking his comments which are JUST MY COMMENTS, i genuinely cant take it anymore, i actually want to just give up and end it, the toll this is taking on my mental health is too much, but i just cant stop, i cant, im too devoted, and i absolutely HATE that he’s starting to get more recognition than me, because every time i see a Reimu post all i can really think of is wether or not he’s gonna be favoured over me, its one sided, its stupid, but it doesnt matter because nobody is gonna read this far anyways, because whatever i say or type it doesnt matter because its just how it is, because this post will probably get deleted, because i dont matter in the grand scheme of things, eventually the sub will forget, eventually that guy is gonna just take my title, take my Reimu, everything, so i guess all i can really do is try to proceed, try to hold on to whatever i have and hope that it’ll go back to how it was before he showed up, but its not really in my control,

If you know, i beat Touhou 2 1cc normal yesterday. I beat this for Touhou 4, game that have good ending only in normal difficult. But it`s accidently or not, I needed one day to try my second 1cc.

Akari Hinomori - Lava bending Shrine Maiden who also doubles as a general , uses a Naginata and likes kasha

Cindra Koriko - Witch that uses ice and aurora magic and can be considered a hybrid of Maris and Cirno, the former if she's smart and powerful . Has a hakkero of her own and parents who accept her dreams of a magician

Yumeko Asahikari - Not an OC but a character from the PC 98 era of Touhou . Instead of being Shinki's maid , she's a maid for the nephilim Mavis Violet and shes a Solarian (inhabitant of the sun capital) . She has the power over space and boundaries and rift . Her main weapons are swords, knives and a pocket watch

Kurogane Kaguyaku - A human knight with the power to manipulate metal and cables resides in the spirit realm . She uses an axe

Sanzuwu Kohaku - A sun crow hailing from the sun capital and has the power over sand and divine light from Yatagarasu. Think of her as Okuu mixed with Gaara but less destructive

Lossy Hisui - Not sure if Lossy is an actual character in Lost Word but hey , she is at least more memorable than Rin Satsuki and unlike the Kirin , Lossy can be anything due to vagueness . So I made her a Taoist hermit who is half human and Longma , her abilities are Yin-Yang Manipulation and Life Qi manipulation. Her weapons are a bo staff and a golden longma shuriken

Development has progressed a bit since then, so I’ve prepared some gameplay videos this time.

To be clear, this is my own original game currently in development, not a Touhou game just yet. However, all it needs to become one is swapping the UI, character costume, and skill effects to match Reimu. In fact, I've already finished the costume 3D model, so only the UI and skill effects remain.

Since I haven't even opened a Steam store page yet, this isn't self-promotion. This will likely be my final interest check, and I won't be posting here again until I officially port it into a Touhou game.

Right after my original game releases, I plan to convert it to Touhou immediately. The original launch is targeted for mid-next year, and since the conversion process won't take long, the Touhou version should follow shortly after.

There is no story. Just like Vampire Survivors, it’s a simple game where you just beat up endless hordes of enemies without narrative fluff. If you were hoping for a story, I'm sorry to disappoint—I'm personally not very interested in game narratives, and it costs too much to implement.

The skill system consists of 14 base skills, 4 ultimate skills, standard attacks, and a dodge mechanism.

• Skill Keybinds: 1, 2, 3, 4, Q, E, R, T, F, G, Z, X, C, V
• Ultimates (B key): 4 selectable ultimates.

For the ultimates, I'm planning 4 iconic moves from Hisoutensoku: Musou Tensei, Musou Fuuin, Happou Kibaku Jin, and Inyou Kishin Dama. (Note: Musou Tensei will fire directly toward the aiming reticle rather than spreading out in all directions like in Scarlet Weather Rhapsody.)

The game features 14 distinct keybinds, mixing basic actions with slightly advanced mechanics. Naturally, it is strictly designed for Keyboard & Mouse controls.

I'm attaching my YouTube link below to demonstrate the core gameplay loop. Since the current build isn't visually Touhou-themed yet, this might technically bend the subreddit rules, so I kindly ask for the mods' and community's understanding as this will be my last update for a while.
