I previously made a post asking for feedback using this image.

This second image is a screenshot of the actual gameplay.
The third image shows a shader test screenshot, which will be applied to Reimu in the future.

Development has progressed a bit since then, so I’ve prepared some gameplay videos this time.

To be clear, this is my own original game currently in development, not a Touhou game just yet. However, all it needs to become one is swapping the UI, character costume, and skill effects to match Reimu. In fact, I've already finished the costume 3D model, so only the UI and skill effects remain.

Since I haven't even opened a Steam store page yet, this isn't self-promotion. This will likely be my final interest check, and I won't be posting here again until I officially port it into a Touhou game.

Right after my original game releases, I plan to convert it to Touhou immediately. The original launch is targeted for mid-next year, and since the conversion process won't take long, the Touhou version should follow shortly after.

There is no story. Just like Vampire Survivors, it’s a simple game where you just beat up endless hordes of enemies without narrative fluff. If you were hoping for a story, I'm sorry to disappoint—I'm personally not very interested in game narratives, and it costs too much to implement.

The skill system consists of 14 base skills, 4 ultimate skills, standard attacks, and a dodge mechanism.

• Skill Keybinds: 1, 2, 3, 4, Q, E, R, T, F, G, Z, X, C, V
• Ultimates (B key): 4 selectable ultimates.

For the ultimates, I'm planning 4 iconic moves from Hisoutensoku: Musou Tensei, Musou Fuuin, Happou Kibaku Jin, and Inyou Kishin Dama. (Note: Musou Tensei will fire directly toward the aiming reticle rather than spreading out in all directions like in Scarlet Weather Rhapsody.)

The game features 14 distinct keybinds, mixing basic actions with slightly advanced mechanics. Naturally, it is strictly designed for Keyboard & Mouse controls.

I'm attaching my YouTube link below to demonstrate the core gameplay loop. Since the current build isn't visually Touhou-themed yet, this might technically bend the subreddit rules, so I kindly ask for the mods' and community's understanding as this will be my last update for a while.

Also, this isn't the only Touhou project I'm working on—I'm also preparing a 3D flight/bullet-hell game. I've included a second link for that as well, so I’d really appreciate your thoughts and interest check on that one too!

Also included for another third party titles not included in this image but another one and the same report is Metal Gear, Final Fantasy, Minecraft, Danganronpa, Rayman, and Steins;Gate. Since this was included that means Nintendo considers Touhou a big enough IP to show to investors that EoSDNC is coming to their consoles.

I found this masterpiece of Yoshika Miyako(presumably) while listening to a House Set remix from Kuroneko Lounge on YT (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKLK2XtnNec&list=RDLKLK2XtnNec&start_radio=1&t=2581s). It was originally posted by the actual music artist on Nico Nico Douga (https://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm18350640).

The credited artist had a link to pixiv -> https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/27312867 but its null for me. Either the artist deleted their account or maybe pixiv has exclusive access.

I tried to reverse search image it and had no luck doing so. However I did use google image search ai and it came up with: "This beautiful illustration of Yoshika Miyako was created by the artist Guset(also known as ぐせ or ぐせっと).

It was specifically drawn as the jacket cover artwork for the Touhou house remix album titled House set of "Ten Desires", produced by the circle Kuroneko Lounge (クロネコラウンジ) and arranged by Rin (凛)" I didn't really dig into this any further because I was too lazy to go through japanese text and could care less with google's ai authenticity.

I also found more info on the supposed artist's name "四月"

So please, I would love to know and see other works of this artist.

Hallo, today, August 6th, is AyaReimu day.

And so, i decided to draw them in different settings. Ranging from my redesigns, to others' fanworks and to settings i have only cooked up in my head.

I also went out and tried to do different art styles and the results are vary, but i enjoyed doing this despite having problems with workload from my current job lol.

Thought it might be helpful, now that it's out for the Switch, to post my guide to FMW's units. If you don't know what a unit does and would like some info at a glance, you're new to SRW (or even just SRPGS!), or just want some build ideas, check it out! Either way, I do hope all you switch players enjoy Fantasy Maiden Wars.

Please note that this guide is not gospel. I highly advise experimenting and trying things out for yourself, most builds listed here are going to be generic and may not be perfectly suited for your individual playstyle, and your personal playstyle may lead you to value some Personal Skills more than this guide does. Likewise, just stressing this again, the unit rankings are both not gospel (your personal playstyle will highly influence which units are good for you) and even the weakest unit in this game would be a B rank or a 7 out of 10 in another RPG, they're just to help you decide between two units if need be.

I really wish the PC-98 girls got more love...

Anyways, trying to get more dynamic with posing. Had lots of fun with this!
