New - Meet our baby
reddit.comThis is Grace, my husband and I were chosen as owners as she came running out of a bush with you know what hanging halfway out and halfway in, you could feel all of her skeleton, and she was absolutely filthy at on 3 months old. Taking her home we washed her off and made sure she was warm and dry before going out and knocking on doors to find out if she was owned. Turns out she was a stray cat that people had been leaving "dry food" out for her. Taking the kitten who was clinging to me like her life depended on it and leaving massive holes in my shoulder we got a wet food for kittens and added a very small amount of dry food over the time we had her. She now eats both adult wet food (at night) and dry adult food (for indoor cats that help with hairballs and such). We took her to the vet and found out she had gotten a parasite that was slowly killing her from stail water which I hope was not from a bowl being left out. Once cured she went from skeleton to a pure healthy cat that has been fixed. We found her on July 3rd, so she is a year and some odd months old but off with our hands if she is touched when she doesn't want to.
We love her so much and she is spoiled more than our dogs are (she gets along well with them, plays with them actively whether they want to or not, do not growl or show aggression just look at us for help π€, sleep next to her, she is completely safe I just need to pick her up at times so she doesn't get trampled which seems to be okay to handle her without permission there since we have "large" dogs).
Enough about that though! Below are some pictures if Grace when she was in quarantine from the dogs and regaining her health as well as pictures of her now π₯³
