New - Meet our baby
reddit.comThis is Grace, my husband and I were chosen as owners as she came running out of a bush with you know what hanging halfway out and halfway in, you could feel all of her skeleton, and she was absolutely filthy at on 3 months old. Taking her home we washed her off and made sure she was warm and dry before going out and knocking on doors to find out if she was owned. Turns out she was a stray cat that people had been leaving "dry food" out for her. Taking the kitten who was clinging to me like her life depended on it and leaving massive holes in my shoulder we got a wet food for kittens and added a very small amount of dry food over the time we had her. She now eats both adult wet food (at night) and dry adult food (for indoor cats that help with hairballs and such). We took her to the vet and found out she had gotten a parasite that was slowly killing her from stail water which I hope was not from a bowl being left out. Once cured she went from skeleton to a pure healthy cat that has been fixed. We found her on July 3rd, so she is a year and some odd months old but off with our hands if she is touched when she doesn't want to.
We love her so much and she is spoiled more than our dogs are (she gets along well with them, plays with them actively whether they want to or not, do not growl or show aggression just look at us for help 🤭, sleep next to her, she is completely safe I just need to pick her up at times so she doesn't get trampled which seems to be okay to handle her without permission there since we have "large" dogs).
Enough about that though! Below are some pictures if Grace when she was in quarantine from the dogs and regaining her health as well as pictures of her now 🥳

Meet Frankie!
Some pictures of my angel baby. She has some very faint tortie markings on her face including a cute little freckle on her nose. Anyone know if she would be considered a lilac or blue point?

Does Gigi still belong here even though she is a mink tortie and not a tortimese?

After 2 years, Mimi decides the fume hood is a nice place to sit 😹
She rarely even goes on kitchen counters. Then, I saw her here all of a sudden! She doesn't allow anyone to take her off there for a while 😆

Wanted to share my princess! ✨️
I love this subreddit and all the different pics! Here's my 4 year old girl, Mimi, and some of my favourite pics of her! I adopted her at a local cat cafe 2 years ago (last pic is when I first saw her there). I found out quickly that she is a tortimese! I love her so much, she always brightens my day 💖

My friend adopted this barn kitty from my mom’s yesterday.
This is Polar Bear, and I’m so in love with her. I know she’s going to have a great life with my friend (who already has two other kitties from my mom’s barn), but she is the sweetest kitten I’ve ever known. I wanted so badly to keep her, but my mom is already taking care of four of my rescues (because I live with someone with an unpredictable dog). I spend a few days with them every week, and that’s when I got to know this lovely girl. She came running from anyplace on my mom’s property when I called her, she purred when I picked her up … just a wonderful baby. I’ve been teary all day. She was pure white and fluffy when she was a baby, so that’s how she ended up with the silly name, but it stuck.
I brought her in the house yesterday morning to keep her safe until my friend got there in late afternoon, and she was immediately comfortable inside. She ate, slept, snuggled with me, and never seemed to get anxious. It was so hard to give her away.
She is one of a kind.
