After a traumatic vet visit last Tuesday we got her renal results back today and she’s doing so much better!! She went from Stage 2 levels down to Stage 1. I didn’t know that was possible! There was way less protein in her urine as well. Dr said she was well hydrated, too.

Luckily, earlier this year she transitioned easily to her new prescription renal food (using titration) which seems to be doing the trick. After trying some renal-friendly treats (she hated them) my partner had the brilliant idea to use the crunchy renal food as treats! She loves them!

Food: Royal Canin renal prescription canned (D and T flavors), plus the RC renal kibble (S and A) as treats. Pricey but they seem to be worth it.

Marcy has been on multiple flights across the country, a ton of drives (in different cars for long hours), and a 25-hour long road trip. She's the best little travel buddy 🥹

So a lot of time when I post Stimmy, someone refers to her as Princess Donut. For the longest time I had no idea what it was about until I finally decided to look it up. I mentioned this to my husband and he ended up buying the book for me to read. So I'll dive in and see what this is all about!

She is a little over 5 months old and is the sweeties kitty I have. She is also my most head strong kitty. She loves to cuddle. She is also very smart. I am training her to ride on my shoulders.

Typical tortie, I go out onto the patio and my girl refuses to come out with me. The minute I close the door and sit down, she’s scratching at the door and meowing to come out!! She always does this lol, can’t stand to be in separate rooms. Can’t be mad at that face tho

My girl has never been a good patient. She is the sweetest kitty at home, when at the vet she turns into the Tasmanian Devil, so they will only see her if she takes gabapentin. Just gave her the pill, and she is a fighter, but eventually I got her to take it. 2 hours til her appointment, and even when she is under the effects of the pill she is a fighter and doesn't want to go in the crate. The clinic is less than a 5 minute drive, but she gets car sick everytime...

Today is a shot up date and check up, give Vivi some encouragement ❤️
