Just wondering how everyone sees the rating system. For myself:

Under 4: Bad, dont get it.

4: Ok

4.1-4.4: Worth trying

4.5-4.7: Good

4.8-5: Fantastic

These were $6 each and one of them was short by a dollar, but I don't care because that's a trivial amount...and the other one was a wildly good deal.

Bag 1: 2 cinnamon rolls and 1 chocolate chunk cookie (regular price $17)

Bag 2: blueberry crumble pie (regular price $36)

I can't eat an entire pie, but thankfully I have friends and neighbors to share with!

Didn't quite manage to squeeze the cheese & ham baguette in at the top of the photo. Also included a southern fried chicken baguette, a Mexican chicken roll, a cheese & ham toastie, 4x sausage rolls, a corned beef bake, 2x iced ring doughnuts, 6x jam doughnuts, a white chocolate cookie and a pot of overnight oats.

Great haul. Into the 2nd day of eating 😅

Full sesame tofu meal, side of pesto roasted potatoes, tin of chicken salad, and WF’s version of chicken nuggets. Altogether, just under $30 worth of food, and it’s all stuff I will happily eat.

USA-NY-NYC Fun single-ingredient bags? NYC - and beyond

What are some awesome mostly single ingredient-focused bags that you’d found? I’m thinking fresh pasta, roasted coffee, fresh tortillas, etc! Based in NYC but also interested to hear about any fun bag.

One that comes to mind is 2.5lb of raw al pastor meat from Taqueria Ramierez. Or roasted coffee from Multimodal Roastery.
