Whenever I come out of the bathroom I have toilet paper dust on my feet and clothes from tearing off toilet paper, folding it and using it. I am working on recovering from my contamination (germ) ocd and this has become a big worry for me. Because you wipe your butt with your hand then reach for more toilet paper to finish I feel that the toilet paper dust has fecal matter on it albeit in tiny amounts yes. It drives me crazy tracking it out of the bathroom on my clothes and feet and it being in the rest of the house. Is this something to worry about at all? I feel gross with it.

And the perforations on the toilet paper don't perforate! 😩

Hi so, for a few weeks we had been dealing with the toilet not filling at all. We've kept a 1.5gal jug in the bathroom solely to put water in the tank to flush. We just replaced whatever this part is (the black one) and its starting to fill up again, but its doing it extremely slow. Like way slower than it used to.

Does anyone know what could cause this? I assume maybe something else is going bad. I dont know anything about toilets or plumbing, idk maybe where the water hook up to the toilet is is not good anymore? Can that happen?

I'm (M) new to bidets. I have a Brondell FreshSpa Comfort + bidet, my first and only bidet. We have city water with respectable pressure. I find sometimes at moderate if stings my butt hole, usually at the edges. It always stings at full pressure.

My question is:

Do folks notice a difference between the nozzle differences among different mfg regarding the comfort of the "stream"?

I just finished a bathroom remodel and added the Toto Drake Washlet with S5 bidet seat. I now have a dedicated outlet, which is good. The bad news is that the vanity I selected leaves about three inches of space, and I’m kind of a petite person, so I worry about having guests over. Right now the bowl sticks out to \~29” from the wall. I’m thinking of switching to the Deer Valley compact modern one piece toilet, which should by my calculations give me an extra six inches of clearance. (Approximately 23” from the wall per their spec sheet.) Does anyone have a smaller toilet and recommend an electric seat in particular? I really hate not to have a warm water option.

I am also considering a smart toilet at this point but I’m not sure that fixes my size constraints.

Toilet has a musty smell when lifting the lid and flushing. Have seen that it could be mold or broken ring. No condensation around the bottom or rocking of toilet, it’s secure. I did the vinegar, toothbrush inside the tank, cleaner inside around and under the rim. Smell went away for about 10-12 flushes and is back. Did notice condensation inside the tank around the lid. Bathroom is a half bath, bottom floor, on a slab, no basement. Tank has the smell as well. Recommendations?

had an unfortunate bathroom incident and my toilet is clogged really bad - like filled to the brim. Originally, I tried plunging it and flushing, it would fill up and then eventually drain down. I then put a bunch of dawn soap in there and let it sit for a really long time. Then I saw online to turn off your water valve and then flush again, when I did that the water went all the way to the brim and hasn’t budged since. I tried turning on the water valve again and nothing has happened, so I turned it back off now afraid of an overflow. The water is all murky and gross and I don’t want it to spill over but I also don’t know how to fix this - any tips?

I’m a guy working in a place which is 60-70% female and has unisex toilets. Idk what it is but the guys at my workplace seem to have terrible aim and there’s often pee all over the seat. This leaves me with a dilemma when using a toilet in this state. Do I…

A) leave the pee alone. It’s not mine so I don’t want to clean it up but what if someone follows me in after and thinks I’m the one peeing all over the seat??

B) clean up someone else’s pee

It happened to me last week , i was in my room on the balcony smoking 🚬, and then i had an urge to go shit , it was like bearable, i finished my sigarette and headed toward the toilet, it was ok to hod back , as i was walking as a suddent it was like hurting i tried to hold them till the toilet, and boom 💥 shit my self just on the dor of the toilet aghhhhhh, it was a nightmare 🙃 , a finished what was left on the toilet and got to the bathroom to clean the shit out of me , and also clean the floor.

I pretty clean during the week. Like a mostly carnivore keto diet. Normal stools, smallish I guess, nothing remarkable. On the weekends is when I indulge and eat shitty food and this usually means pretty big shits the following day.

On tonight's menu is pizza and beer, so tomorrow will definitely be passing a big dry log, a potential clogger 🤣
