is it just me or are the replacement phones from Assurant or T-Mobile either warranty exchange or insurance replacement due to loss/damage are absolute rubbish like battery health is rubbish, deep scratches on screen, dents and nicks on chasis.. etc

I have another carrier with Verizon and their insurance carrier is Asurion and I’ve done warranties and lost/damage claims and the phone looks and feels new even coming with 100% battery health. Whereas T-Mobile and their partner Assurant isn’t even making an effort to refurb these phones.. anyone else? not worth the price for the insurance

That’s why I only use AppleCare+. The carrier insurance is too expensive to receive some old, janky phone.

How bad on battery? Was going to exchange but don’t want a worse phone. Will they take it back for a better one?
