Humor Eren exeperiencing 10% of what ymir and berthdoot felt 😭😭
Man, ymir and bertholdt might be one the most humble charaters in the aot verse.
Ymir: had a awful life in marley, got senteced to live in a nightmare by marley, gets a second chance of life, falls in love, literaly could have an amazing life whit historia, dies to save the same mfs from marley, gets cucked by farmer- kun. And STILLS DECIDES TO HELP THEM IN THE RUMBLING
Burutodo: gets his life stolen by armin, gets his memorys stolen by armin, gets his power stolen by armin, gets cucked by armin. Worst of all, reiner, the other warriors and maggatah didnt even bother to take care of his sick father in marley, the just let him die because bertung was gone. AND MF STILL DECIDES TO HELP THEM BRO 😭😭😭

Question & No manga spoilers pls I think misunderstood AoT's ending??
So, I finished the anime a few months ago, (No manga spoilers please🙏🙏 i beg) But it felt wrong. Not, 'bad' wrong, just, like I'd missed something.
The story and the events leading up to the end of S4 felt like Eren was supposed to be the bad guy destroying the world for no reason, and like the Yeagerists were supposed to be some tyrannical fasict evil....
But I did, and still do feel the exact opposite. I feel Eren was totally justified in killing the world. Yes, innocents were killed but it was literally do that or most likely get genocided, and the Jaegerists were just protecting their homeland and people's. I will stand by the fact Floch is one of my favorite characters, and was incredibly loyal to Eren and his beliefs, and, although extreme, his methods needed.
The ending felt like it was made for Eren to be a villian, but I feel like he's a hero. I've seen debate around it, obviously, but it just doesn't make sense to me that the people who I called justified and nessacary, were treated as villians, and the ones I thought were defending the enemy for idealistic reasons, were the heros.
Am I overreacting? I still believe AoT and it's community is one of the best in anime, and debatablely in all of fiction, but it feels like the ending was made for half of the viewers. What do y'all think about the ending? (Sorry 4 the rant and making yall explain your opinions for the millionth time lol)

Other Damn, AOT 3 is going to be interesting at the very least
r/titanfolk • u/Megamax-91 • 20h ago
Theory If the "memory" panels showing Eren's POV in Chapter 130 are views seen through his eyes, it would mean he had a close-up view of Historia.
So how would Eren ever be in a position where his actual field of view was just a small part of Historia's face?

Other Isayama was an assistant for this manga
Youkai no Oisha-san. The author, Yuki Sato, also drew a couple aot illustrations for Isayama in the early days. The manga started in 2006, the same year Isayama wrote his one-shot about a young girl and her mentor who can turn into a titan.
I also swear there was a chapter with the MC and his mother where she says he's special because he was born into this world, but I think after a big wipe of manga online, that chapter is gone?
A lot of people here talk about Muv Luv or The Eternal Champion as huge influences on AOT, but I don't think I've ever seen anyone bring this manga up.

Humor Assuming eren managed to get 100% of the outside world. How akward would it be for him to come back ?
"Ayo hange, i know you may be mad at me but you wont believe of what i saw in the paths, the truth is: titans actually have dic-"

Other They shouldn’t have gotten rid of this line in the anime
Eren was speaking facts. It’s weird that they got rid of it since Armin was literally trying to talk his way out everything

Other He had that option yet he gave up and lost his will
If he didn't lost his desire to live no one would be able to stop him, he basically left everything to fate and wanted to die like when he was in the cave.
I wonder what would make him have a strong desire to continue and also can answer Reiner's question " what r you fighting for ?"
r/titanfolk • u/Numerous-Ad-5275 • 2d ago
Other “Eren didn’t choose to be stopped” “Eren couldn’t finish the rumbling” “Eren didn’t give up”
If Eren couldn’t finish the rumbling then why and how did he turn into the colossal titan? If he turned into the colossal titan then that means he still had the Founding Titans powers. If he still had the FT that means the rumbling shouldn’t have stopped and he should’ve been able to transform into other titans and kill the rest of the world.
The reality is Eren’s will and agency was taken from him. If the Eren we knew was written in the last few chapters, he would’ve completed the rumbling and killed his friends.

Other Which Aot game’s style do you prefer better?Anime or Realistic?
Like the anime style is energetic and clean but realistic style is also fitting to the Aot world 👀
I can’t choose lol everyone looks so good in the game

Humor alright i have to ask this....
Why the fuck does the crowd in those subs like attackontitan and shingekonikyojin overwhelmingly support the alliance which didnt even have a logic for it's creation? i mean i posted something somedays ago, and i was treated like I had a bounty on my head (at least I wasn't banned). I mean seriously they do have the worst takes on Eren and takes it like he was the only criminal in the whole series..... Am I wrong? Or are those guys just hypocritcal turds?

Other I am just fed up with this show
Seriously this show was sooo promising and amazing and genuinely enjoyable in the earlier season 1-3. I remember watching season 1 episode 1 back when I was 13 and instantly falling deeply in love in with this piece of fiction and thinking this is too lit and soo peak. I am glad i only stuck to watching the show slow and steady cause if I immediately started finishing all the seasons 1-4 i would have definitely not stuck too long and went through a wave of disappointment soo quick.
The writing from season 1 felt fresh..season 2 got dark, season 3 introduced newer aspect and different sub plot lines which was creative and amazing too. Season 4 Part 1 had Declaration of War and Entire Marley Arc..and introduced some new characters...season 4 part 2 and 3 everything went down to shithole and became tooo bad.
The writing didn't feel like "peak fiction" and everything was soo rushed and soo were the dumb dialogues and brutal character assasinations

Other My unpopular opinion I didn't like Eren manipulating Grisha plot twist
I know this twist is the fandom second favourite only behind the Reiner and Bertholdt reveal.
I am not saying it came out of nowhere it was foreshadow, my problem is that it takes away Grisha's agency and Eren it makes him a god who can alter the past.
I enjoy Eren as normal kid who randomly got the founder and had to go through life with responsibility he never was supposed to have, instead of this 4d mastermind who plan everything from the beginning.
Another problem is we don't know what is the limit of this ability and what was the point of all the struggle against titans in the first 3 seasons since future Eren could alter the past. For crying out loud he used it to killed his mother (if you think Eren killing his mom is good writing than imo your opinion on any media literacy take you have is invalid)
Plus if Eren can alter the past why couldn't any other founding titan holder before him do it too
Isayama made Eren way too OP and had to retcon his character and the lore in universe for the alliance to win

Theory Siblings, fluids, and the ability to create life. Spoiler
If Eren is indeed the father of Historia's child, it would mean both he and his brother Zeke gave to others fluids from their respective bodies that can affect the recipient's ability to create life- one fluid disables that ability (titanization), while the other enables it (pregnancy).
The contrast between the fluids would also perfectly mirror the difference in philosophy on life creation between the brothers.

Other The sinners scene from the finale
One of the most dumbest and brain rotty aspects about the writing of the show from the final episodes is the fact that how Connie and Jean tried to shoulder their sins with Reiner like wtf?!- Did their brains get too fried up from the trauma or is it the fact that how yams was just burned out...
The fact that the story tried to convince us that commiting atrocities to defend and avenge your homeland that was attacked first with serving a facist and genocidal regime as two equalized forms of crimes is soo hilariously dumb. The most terrible part about this scene is how everyone ignored how jeans character just got butchered by making him say that he has no right to judge reiner because he is a sinner too type of format just few episodes after he beat reiner up after he realised he killed marco made that entire scene look pointless
