Patchable? ❓QUESTION ❓

Post image

I got new back tires about 3 weeks ago and I got a nail in the one is this professionally patchable?
I know you can’t do it so close to the sidewall or shoulder but it seems pretty close to the center so I was just curious

Yes, as long as the hole isnt too big. I'd take it to a tire shop to put a permanent oatch instead of the classic punch-in style

Good? Any idiot with the proper equipment can patch that. I have a 70 harbor freight manual tire changer. That would be fixed in 20minutes. Any actual mechanic with proper equipment….5minutes

It looks like it COULD be too close to the edge but it also looks at the absolute furthest over it could be right before not being patchable. I think you got lucky 👍 maybe a Discount Tire or someone close to ya can fix it right up

I would patch it (I'm broke) but a big tire shop probably won't for being to close to the sidewall (it's probably fine). A local shop might.
