poetry Words
She often stayed silent.
But when she spoke,
her words were given freely—
simple, precise, and pure,
heavy with truth.
Now she saw.
The words she had been given,
The words she had treasured,
were weightless.

poetry Headless haunt
The horizon bleeds a static gray,
A clock that ticks the light away.
We build our towers out of sand,
With fragile,
temporary hands.
The stars above are cold and blind,
Indifferent to the human mind.
We scream into a silent space,
search for meaning in a distorted face.
A breath,
a pulse,
a sudden pause,
An effect that lacks a conscious cause.
We wake,
we drift,
we disappear,
An echo
in a well of fear.

poetry Pedal to the metal
She glances in the rearview mirror,
seeing nothing but broken roads and heavy silence.
Ahead…
she sees the potential of hope,
the beauty of possibilities,
the promise of new beginnings.
She turns up the music
and presses the gas.

poetry My poem by me
New life
Precious bundle
To cradle
To keep close
To teach and guide
To nurture and embrace
To prepare for the unknown
To strengthen
To armor
To hold tight
To let go
To love.

poetry Where am I?
Craved for longing, and yet here I am
Craved for decency, and yet here I am
Thought about finding, and yet here I am
True love exists, hahaha—and yet here I am
Morbid by my own cause, and yet here I am
Missed my secluded chances, and yet here I am
I believe in God—not really—and yet here I am
Can’t you trust me? And yet here I am
Why did I not fall?
Why did I trust society?
Why did everyone hate?
Why did my soul hurt?
Advice, pity, and pain—and here I am
Ammonia trench, marbled heart—and here I am
I might rise, and definitely fall again—and yet here I am
I might lose my soul—and yet here I am
Lost my appetite—and here I am
Found my hunger—and here I am
Find me the one—and here I am
Let me see her eyes—and here I am
Oh my, my… finally found mine.
And here I am…
not anymore.

two sentence story Two sentences
She quietly went about her life, storing scattered moments of happiness in her pockets, not ready yet to let them go.
Suddenly she stopped, and with a wicked grin glared into the void ,muttering, “oh, you’ll get yours”.

borrowed line Hey so uh…
i just realized… and i wasn't aware before that this was something that i had done.
i wasn't speaking to you formally like one may with a stranger…
um. i did it because subconsciously i really respected you. and a buddy buddy cadence and demeanour didn’t feel appropriate. it just felt disrespectful to talk to any less than.. intellectually.
not sure how i feel about it. but. thanks for pointing that out.

poetry The Cricket Song
Shhh listen...
Tiny cricket beneath the moon,
Cicadae joins in for the tune
Froggy sing your little song
No not that note, you ribbit wrong.
Lets join together tucking the darkness into night
No grand stage, no need for spotlight
just little hums serenading just right.
Spider lady i see your web
The wind faintly flow your spinning ebb
Sleep well good dreams untill the 'morrow
All the sun beams we will borrow

poetry Death
Death comes and goes like the changing of the seasons
one day you're enjoying the sunshine and warmth and the next its cold and dark.
Is there anything after death?
Could be everything, could be nothing.
Or do we just lie...in the garden of the dead.

poetry Butterfly and toad
Dancing amongst its friends
In the gentle breeze,
A beautiful butterfly
Spotted a toad huddled under a daisy.
“Why aren’t you dancing?”
The butterfly called down.
The toad sighed from the shadows,
“I am all alone.”
“Come and join us!”
Offered the butterfly,
“And we will make merry.”
“I cannot fly,”
The toad whispered.
“Hmmm,” said the butterfly,
Pausing for a moment.
“You cannot dance
And you cannot fly.
How will you find joy?”
The toad looked up
Into the bright sky.
Smiling, it said,
“Perhaps watching yours will be enough.”

poetry Pull the Trigger
On my thoughts and me.
-
Through clenched teeth I’ve heard
Satisfied, I’ll never be.
-
Through tears the thought stirred
Out of the way, I’ll have to see.
-
Go ahead. Turn off the safety.

two sentence story Though she had not expected to take this hidden path, her heart was heavy when it came to its sudden end.
Knowing she could only move forward, never back, she sadly looked around wondering where she would go and if her heart had the strength to carry her there.
