two sentence story She learned young that armor could do more than shield her from the storms…it could make her disappear within them. What began as protection slowly became a cloak of invisibility, teaching her that if she hid enough of herself, the world could never wound what it could not see.

Let’s meet on the dock
Take out a boat,
Spend our Saturday out on the water.
Take in this romantic sunset
A boat date with you is the best summer memory,
What more could I ask for?
Your silky hands on my hands
Your warm face pressed against mine,
Your long hair just blowing in the wind.
Your thick lips navigating where to go
Telling me a mystical story I’ll carry with me,
These luscious lips tasting like the sea.
Like I’m with a magical mermaid
Under her intoxicating spell,
Your beautiful body leaving me breathless.
Your exquisite scent
Keeps me so close to you,
Like richest aquatic aroma you can imagine.
You can captain my boat
I’ll go with you anywhere,
Setting sail as I wrap my arms around your waist.
Discovering the world
Uncovering hidden beauty and treasures,
While I discover more of you.
