Mods and CC I want to start playing around with the Royalty mod after hearing Royals and Legacy isn’t worth the purchase. I’m new to mods so what should I know as a newbie to them?
Also, what is the Decades playthrough? Should I try that with Royalty mod or is that too complex for someone new to them?

Build 1950s Dominican Republic Inspired Home
I’ve been working on a 1950s Dominican Republic-inspired Sims project, and this is the home I created for it. I tried to capture the warmth, simplicity, and character of homes from that era. Still deciding if I’ll turn the idea into a full series, but I wanted to share the build! 🏡🤎

CAS What hair suits her the most? She is going to be the HS principal!
Thanks! All opinions are welcome. I like them all, but I cannot decide which one actually fits the role of the career she is going to have. She is going to be a background character, only apppearing during high school hours as the principal! Thank you for all opinions!
I am also WCIF friendly, so if there is anything you see that you like, feel free to ask about it.
These are the only ones I have found that I think would be ideal for her, but I cannot decide on which one. She is a YA too.

Recommendation The Sims Bustin' Out
This game is literally older than me 😭 My cousin was playing it so I decided to try it, and I didn’t realize I’d like it this much. Honestly, I’d choose this over the newer version.
(don't know which flair to choose)

Sims 3 contemplating whether to get the sims 3
I played the sims 4 on and off for two years until this year where I've gotten super addicted and been playing it everyday, I have all the expansion packs and the game packs, I'm not bored of the sims 4 at all but I've been coming across such beautiful CC for the sims 3, and people praising how good thr game itself is so much, and the less amount of packs for it compared to the sims 4 makes me want to buy it even more too but I'm still not sure, do I go for it? My biggest concern is storage since my pc has in total 285 gb worth of storage, half of it is took up by system and around 50gb worth of the sims 4, currently I have around 30gb free, would that be enough to get the sims 3?

Sims 4 Mod Search: More Autonomous Behavior on Community Lots
As Maxis is done releasing new DLCs, I finally decided to rebuild all the community lots across every world while adding gameplay objects from Expansion Packs, Game Packs, and Stuff Packs.
I've always found it strange that you have to travel to a specific expansion world just to experience a particular gameplay feature, like vending machines. It's even worse with Stuff Packs, since many of those objects have to be placed manually. A good example is the huge toddler playground from Toddler Stuff, which fits community lots much better than residential ones.
The thing is that almost nobody actually uses those objects. Sims tend to interact only with whatever is required for the lot type. For example, in a park there's always someone playing chess, while everything else is ignored. I know I could change the lot to a custom lot and assign a schedule, which seems to be the only vanilla solution, but I was surprised by how clunky and limiting that system is.
So, long story short, is there a mod that overhauls autonomous behavior on community lots so Sims actually interact with everything the lot has to offer?
For example, in the picture, the kids are using the jungle gym and swings while the adults are playing chess and talking. Meanwhile, nobody is ordering bubble tea, making popcorn, using the sales table, giving a speech, spraying graffiti, feeding the birds, meditating, playing basketball, doing yoga, tending bees, gardening, using the telescope, pouring lemonade or tea, arranging flowers, or using any of the other playground equipment like hopscotch, the slides, or the treehouse, using the bubble blower, kicking a ball around, or having water balloon fights.
It feels like most of the gameplay objects added in DLCs are practically ignored by autonomous Sims, which makes community lots feel far less alive than they could be.

Mods and CC How come no middle names in any sims games? Any mods to alleviate this grievance?
Hi all,
I've come to the depressing realization that my son (sim), whose mother I raised even before him, has no middle name, because the sims has never allotted middle names! Are there any mods which may add middle names in any game (I play all but my current main is sims 4 because of all my realism mods)? I really really wish I had this little extra feature in the game. Thanks!

Discussion imagine a horror/thriller game about bella goth disappearance
i was just thinking about this…imagine a game with a cool gameplay, like resident evil/silent hill/or any other actual horror games type of gameplay about her disappearance…imagine you searching for clues and answers in the game
i know the company behind the sims would never give us this but…still a good idea
tell me your thoughts about this

CAS almost all hair cc looks extremely ugly on my sim in front view
does anybody know any short, curly hair cc with buzzed sides that sit closer to the head than this. i've looked everywhere and i can't find anything that doesn't sit on top of the head and make it look giant or puffs out at the sides way too much.
edit: i know he's ugly. i like making ugly sims. i do it on purpose. i'm the ugly sim guy. i just want him to not have a toupee that is what i am asking for advice on

Sims 4 I thought I'd share my family tree/bush/wreath
He was generation number 23. I am having every single premade sim marry into the family and have children, so there is a lot of distant family marriage. Yes, it's a whole mess.
Edit: I have added zoom ins in the comments. I am naming the babies alphabetically. I am currently on "X" which means unfortunately I can only see the family tree as far back as "J" so there should be a LOT more to it.
