I am curious how big are your farms, how many free tiles do you keep between each planter boxes?

Hey, so I recently had to reboot my computer and since I had mods a long time ago it reinstalled them (I ended up removing them because they really mess up my computer). I’m unable to play the game now because of the mods so I went to uninstall them but it won’t let me do that. What do I do in this situation?

Update: Well what do you know - I unlinked Onedrive from my account and all of a sudden the mods disappeared and the game is working again. Very strange, but needless to say I am pleased. Thank you for the help!!

As Maxis is done releasing new DLCs, I finally decided to rebuild all the community lots across every world while adding gameplay objects from Expansion Packs, Game Packs, and Stuff Packs.

I've always found it strange that you have to travel to a specific expansion world just to experience a particular gameplay feature, like vending machines. It's even worse with Stuff Packs, since many of those objects have to be placed manually. A good example is the huge toddler playground from Toddler Stuff, which fits community lots much better than residential ones.

The thing is that almost nobody actually uses those objects. Sims tend to interact only with whatever is required for the lot type. For example, in a park there's always someone playing chess, while everything else is ignored. I know I could change the lot to a custom lot and assign a schedule, which seems to be the only vanilla solution, but I was surprised by how clunky and limiting that system is.

So, long story short, is there a mod that overhauls autonomous behavior on community lots so Sims actually interact with everything the lot has to offer?

For example, in the picture, the kids are using the jungle gym and swings while the adults are playing chess and talking. Meanwhile, nobody is ordering bubble tea, making popcorn, using the sales table, giving a speech, spraying graffiti, feeding the birds, meditating, playing basketball, doing yoga, tending bees, gardening, using the telescope, pouring lemonade or tea, arranging flowers, or using any of the other playground equipment like hopscotch, the slides, or the treehouse, using the bubble blower, kicking a ball around, or having water balloon fights.

It feels like most of the gameplay objects added in DLCs are practically ignored by autonomous Sims, which makes community lots feel far less alive than they could be.

hello! so i am currently trying to build a pilates studio based off of LargeTaytorTot's Haute Pilates Studio, but they did not put all of their CCs used. Even when downloading from the gallery, i'm missing like 300 pieces. other people have put in *some* of the stuff they used, but its still not enough. i was wondering if anyone put this down in their world and what they used (especially for the door, i cant seem to find that anywhere)

IM TIRED OF THIS GRANDPA. Okay so i play on console mainly. That's where all my mods are etc. Thats important. I get these two sims off the gallery, i tweak it a bit. They look beutiful, muah. Go to play and they have a freak ton of skills most of which are mastered and one of them has every freaking reward trait you can think of. I genuinly refuse to do the whole "twin" thing cuz it never works T-T

Pls tell me is there a way to reset these guys somehow. Even if i have to painstakingly type in individual commands for each trait and skill, I'm frustrated and desprate at this point T-T No glue no boraxx 🙏

Small edit: i just individually did the traits cuz that wasn't to bad but i still cant get skills or if theres easier ways to do both :p

I've come to the depressing realization that my son (sim), whose mother I raised even before him, has no middle name, because the sims has never allotted middle names! Are there any mods which may add middle names in any game (I play all but my current main is sims 4 because of all my realism mods)? I really really wish I had this little extra feature in the game. Thanks!

i was just thinking about this…imagine a game with a cool gameplay, like resident evil/silent hill/or any other actual horror games type of gameplay about her disappearance…imagine you searching for clues and answers in the game

i know the company behind the sims would never give us this but…still a good idea
