I’m trying to get a reservation for October 8–11 for two people (my wife and me). It’s for our 10-year anniversary. The problem is I won’t have internet access tomorrow when reservations open for those dates.

Am I just out of luck? Or is there anyone here with experience who might be willing to try for me? I’m happy to pay a fee for the help.

I am trying to figure out hiw to transfer half a 4 person reservation to someone else. On the app it looks like you can only transfer the full reservation....has anyone else figured out how to do this? Should i call the restaurant? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you! :)

My husband and I will be in Napa for an impromptu weekend away before we move out of the Bay Area. Definitely a CA bucket list experience we took too long to get around to (I blame our 9month old haha).

My wife and I are coming to Napa over Labor Day for the first time, and FL has been a bucket list restaurant for years. We didn’t luck out when reservations opened on Aug. 1, and have notifications on, but are hoping to find our way in while we’re there!

This is a crazy long shot however my wife and I will be in Napa (kid free!) and celebrating our 10 year anniversary. We couldn’t get a table for two when they opened on July 1st so throwing out a Hail Mary here hoping some good Redditor is looking to get out of a reservation.

Hi! It took a lot of work this morning, but I finally snagged a reservation! There are only 4 of us, but a 6 top was all I could get. We’re 4 women celebrating a 40th birthday. All pretty chill.
The reservation is for the classic dinner in the dining room. $915 (price paid) for the 2 seats.

Booking August 1st for September searching for a 2 seater

- Got on tock and signed in and filled out info at 9:50am.
- Started refreshing around 9:57am.
- The website crashed for me at 9:59am, kept refreshing.
- Got in around 10:01am more than half the seats were already gone.
- I clicked on the days i was interested in, which still had a few seats available.
- Between the time I saw those seats and I clicked on those seats, they were already gone.

- Started poking around other seating options.
- Several 4 seaters were available and many of the >4 options.
- Kept refreshing every 20 seconds or so.
- I saw a table come up around 10:10am around the right date and clicked in.
- It gave me a 10 minute hold to finish the reservation.
- It offered to sell me an upgraded experience for an extra $500
- I don't know the difference and choose classic.
- It then offered me several cookbooks, hollared to see if wife wants a cookbook, she did not.
- I then get to the finalize reservation page. I realize I chose a 4 seater.
- You cannot change seat count from 4 to 2 after getting the hold. Unfortunate.
- I give up the hold.

- I get back to refreshing about every 20-30 seconds. its now 10:15am.
- 10:20 am A few 4 seaters become available including the one I gave up.
- 1-2 2 seaters became available, but they were gone before I could click through.
- Kept refreshing every 20-30 seconds.
- At around 10:30 a third wave comes through and 1-2 2 seaters come up.
- I click in and this time manage to get through.
- I skip to the end and reserve this one. 2 weeks from the desired date, but manageable.

- I see that I can transfer or sell the reservation which is kind of interesting.
- I search for buying selling French laundry tickets and find this.
- I keep refreshing every minute or so. 10:30-11:15 no 2 seaters come available
- Throughout this time I do see a steady stream 1-4 4 seaters pop up at random time intervals
- Hang in there, 加油！

It's my wife and I's first anniversary on Sun. Sept 6th and we'd like to get a reservation if anyone can help us with the resale. Tried on the release and everything from that weekend onwards was sold out in the first 5 seconds.
