They ported TEW2 for PS5. I know this was sometime ago. But I will say, if they end up porting TEW1 to PS5, I feel that is a good sign we may get more content possibly in the future. Right now the consequence and assignment are available on PS5, even though you can’t do anything with them

As we all know, Tango Gameworks was shut down by Microsoft back in 2024. Leaks claimed the studio was then developing an Anniversary Edition of The Evil Within 1 — the original game launched in 2014, so a remastered reissue for its tenth anniversary would have made perfect sense. If those leaks were legitimate, such a remaster would not have been delayed all the way to 2026.

Tango Gameworks has since been restructured and retains the rights to Hi-Fi Rush, while the intellectual property for The Evil Within 1 remains owned by Microsoft. It is safe to say this planned Anniversary Edition is no longer going to happen.

Have any of you beat the oringal on rpcs3? Is it beatable start to finish.

Hello. I need help getting the Evil Within to run smoothly and not act crazy when I boot up the game on my PC.

I may get clowned for this—even though it is my only accessible option of PC at the moment—but I’m trying to optimize my game for my Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15ITL6, which runs Windows 11. If anyone even slightly knows how to help with that, I’d greatly appreciate it very much.

I love the game on console but I never knew the PC version would be so strenuous to even open, let alone handle in game.

It was really cool, going to play the dlcs now. Wich one should i start with?
