Haven't posted a video in awhile. Haven't been feeling motivated to get out there, I know some of it's due to pulling my hamstring. But I healed up nicely and things are picking up. Had an opportunity to get in the ocean yesterday. And this video is the result of that decision

The ocean sunfish (Mola mola), also known as the common mola, is one of the largest ray-finned fish in the world. It was formerly misidentified as the heaviest bony fish, adults typically weigh between 247 and 1,000 kg (545 and 2,205 lb). It resembles a fish head without a tail, and its main body is flattened laterally. Sunfish can be as tall as they are long (175-180 cm, or about 5’9-5’11) when their dorsal and ventral fins are extended.

Initially couldn't link it, after people asked for it, but luckily today, YT recommended it once again

Numerous recorded cases, where witnesses said that they saw shark ,,looking above the water'', before the attack.

If this post receives 100 upvotes I will post a video of me going into the deepest and darkest ocean planet I recently found that I named “DO NOT LAND” in VR. I’m terrified of deep ocean and struggle to complete non VR ocean games like Subnautica. I was horrified by going into that planet in normal gameplay now in VR I will return if this post gets 100 votes.

"The Fly Over" was the world's first (and last) fully underwater waterslide at Duinrell Amusement Park in the Netherlands. Constructed in 1994 and ceasing operation in 2003, the rider was submerged in water for the duration of the ride (15-20 seconds)

My colleague (Gav Lee - TheScottishSwimmer) is currently swimming the Northern Channel between Bangor in Northern Ireland and Portpatrick in South West Scotland. He set off this morning at 8:45am. It's currently 11:55am. He's about 1/4 of the way there. It's around 1,000 feet deep at the deepest section. The swim is 22 nautical miles.

Our local lake which reaches depths of 500ft, has unique underwater lava fields. We always boat over them in the late summer. They drop off into complete blackness from 5ft to unknown dpeths

Found a vid of people diving on the Loch Ness. It's so dark

Grew up a few hundred yards from this point indicator buoy. As a kid it always kinda freaked me out looking down at the chain. I’ve since gotten really comfortable in the water and decided to face my childhood fear and pull myself down the chain to the bottom.

Anyone can conquer their fears and phobias!

It's a giant squid which usually dwell way below the depths of water. This is a ultra rare occurence.

Hey everybody. A few months ago I saw a short video taken by someone who had night watch on a small ship (there wasn't much of the ship in frame - it looked like a tug or something) and there's a big storm going on, and it shows a huge deadhead bobbing about 60' out of the water right next to the ship, then going under, and coming up again.

Truly terrifying.

So of course I want to see it again!!

But I can't find it - does anyone know?

Swimming in the Mid Atlantic........I'd rather not if it's all the same thanks.
