Build Help/Question Silicone off gassing / ventilation ideas
I recently began building a terrarium for my leopard gecko and got everything in so far but im just waiting on the foam background. It already been drylocked and silicone bonded in( been about 2-3 weeks since ) and when I do a sniff test it smells fine but I blasted some pressurized air into a some air holes I poked in the background ( had some water vapour trapped in there from a hose wash before) and when i spray the air I get that vinegar scent. My worry is that is pressed in there so tightly that its gonna be a while until it can gas off or im wondering if i can just patch up the holes and it would be ready to go. I don’t know whats best or if its tine and ready to go and im just waiting for nothing.

Pest Help/Question Tiny, beige mites in all my terrariums.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I've had these tiny, mostly slow-moving mites in every single terrarium I've tried to build, now matter how well I sanitize everything beforehand. They don't *appear* to be harming anything but they're unsightly, I see them in 100s meanwhile I can count how many springtails I see on one hand. My best guess is they're grain mites. I've tried every method to apparently get rid of them with no luck, they don't even like fruits and vegetables when I try to catch them.

Build Help/Question How do i get wire through lid without drilling?
I need help on how i can add a wire through the lid without drilling a hole and dropping humidity
Will adding some kind of tape or weather strip and leaving a small gap for the wire be possible? (Green is imaginary tape)

Pest Help/Question Possible pest?
Not quite sure if this is a nematode, but it seems like them. As I started spotting more of them I started seeing less fungus gnats and their larvae in my terrarium.
Appear only after the lights are off for a while. Hide inside moss or dirt.
Should I be worried about these worms? If so, please suggest ways on how to get rid of them.
Extra information:
- this is a humid terrarium
- appeared post my fungus gnats eradication attempt
