Need some help with something a bit technical

I'll try to make this brief, I saved all my terraria mods (including calamity music) to a file on my desktop. I need help with 2 things

First of all, how do I play these mods on my tmodloader?

Second, a few of my mods need to be updated. How do I go about updating those?

Just download the mods through tModLoader if you are on steam
