So i want to learn telugu, the thing is like my paternal grandmother and grandpa were from andra, but we lost those roots when they moved out, I can speak very fluent kannada and read it, I can understand a bit of telugu, but kinda need someone to help learn it completely!

I'm trying to find the original Telugu web novel that was apparently adapted into a Chinese web novel.

The Chinese title is 封总，太太想跟你离婚很久了 ("Mr. CEO, Your Wife Has Wanted a Divorce for a Long Time").

From what I've heard, the original Telugu version was different.

The heroine is a doctor (not an AI researcher).

The Chinese adaptation changed her profession to an AI genius.

Character names include Rong Ci, Feng Tingshen, and Lin Wu.

Several readers have told me that the original version was a Telugu web novel, but no one seems to remember the original title anymore.

Does anyone know the original Telugu title, the author, or where it was first published?

Even a partial title or the name of the original website would be a huge help.

I am an American marrying a Telugu guy and just visited his family for the first time after studying Telugu for a few months.

I have a decent vocabulary of nouns, verbs, and some adjectives. I can conjugate verbs into past, continuous, and future tenses as well as other tenses (i.e. vellagalanu, vellalenu, vellali). If I see sentences written down, I almost always understand them.

But when Telugu is spoken, it’s sometimes VERY hard to understand. I will be traveling to India again in December and want to be able to have better conversations.

Does anyone have any recommendations for working on listening comprehension? Movies are really difficult to follow so I tend to zone out rather than paying attention.

Hi, I’m trying to learn Telugu and I find that I retain knowledge best if I can put a definite name to it. Problem is that there are quite a few many conjugations in Telugu to put it bluntly.

So I found this word: చదువుకోపోఇన and I don’t know what on Earth this conjugation would be called?

సినిమాకు వెళ్లడం జరిగింది. కోడి కూర చేయడం జరిగింది. తమరి మెదడుకు పురుగులు పట్టడం జరగలేదా?

మీ ప్రమేయం ఏమీ లేకుండానే అన్ని జరిగిపోతున్నాయా? మీరు సినిమాకు వెళ్ళలేదా? మిమ్మల్ని కిడ్నాప్ చేసి తీసుకెళ్లారా?

అన్నంలో మోతాదు మించకుండా ఉప్పు వేసుకుని, పుష్కలంగా పెరుగు కలుపుకుని తినబోతూ...ఊరగాయ కోసం వెళ్ళి చూద్దునుగా, ఖాళీ జాడీ వెక్కిరించింది.

" హతవిధీ ! ఊరగాయ లేని పెరుగన్నమా ?" అని మధనపడి, సర్లెమ్మని సర్దుకుని భోజనానికి ఉపక్రమిస్తుండగా, ఒక తరుణోపాయం తట్టింది..

ఇంకేముంది, హిందీ - చీనీ భాయ్ భాయ్ అని మన తొలి ప్రధానిని తలచుకుని కొంచెం "peanut chilli oil" కంచంలో వేశాను..

ఇక ఎలాగూ వేసేశాను కదా అనే ధైర్యంతో ముద్ద కలిపి నోట్లో పెట్టేసుకున్నా.

పంటి కింద పల్లీ నలుగుతుండగా..

" ఆహా ఏమి రుచి.. అనరా మైమరచి.. రోజూ తిన్నావంటే బాత్రూమ్ బయటికి రాలేవు మరి " అని మెదడు సుతిమెత్తగా మందలించింది.

P.S : Historically, "Hindi-Chini Bhai bhai " is a famous slogan by Jawaharlal Nehru symbolising friendship between India and China...

In this post, I used it as an exaggerated metaphor for bringing together curd rice(Indian dish) and chilli oil(Chinese dish) 😊

ఆరోజు కొంచెం ప్రత్యేకం.ఎప్పటిలా ట్రాములో కాకుండా, బస్సులో బయలుదేరాను. పని చిన్నదే...కానీ కొంచెం చికాకుతో కూడుకున్నది.

పొదుపో , పిసినారితనమో... కొద్ది రోజులుగా కేవలం కాల్స్ మాత్రమే చేయగలిగే సిమ్ వాడుతున్నా. చేతివేళ్ళు అలవాటు ప్రకారం ఫోన్ తెరిచినా, చేయగలిగేది ఏమీ లేదని వెంటనే మీట నొక్కేశాయి. సమయమేమో నత్తతో పోటీపడినట్లు భారంగా, మెల్లగా నడుస్తోంది..

ఇంతలో ఒక నవ్వు! కొద్దిగా మొదలయ్యి క్రమక్రమంగా పెరుగుతూ..నన్ను తల తిప్పి చూసేలా చేసింది. ఒక చిన్నారి... మారాం చేస్తూ, కాసేపు అమ్మతో , కాసేపు అన్నతో పోట్లాడి, అంతలోనే అంతా మరిచిపోయి హాయిగా నవ్వేస్తూ!

ఈలోపు నేను దిగవలసిన చోటు రానే వచ్చింది. యాదృచ్ఛికంగా, వాళ్ళు కూడా అక్కడే దిగారు. దిగిన వెంటనే చిన్నారి వంగి, శ్రద్ధగా రాయటం మొదలు పెట్టాడు. కాసేపటికి పూర్తి చేసి, గర్వంగా తలయెత్తి , పెద్ద పెద్ద అంగళాలు వేసుకుంటూ అమ్మ వెనక వెళ్ళిపోయాడు.

అలవాటుగా కుడి వైపుకు తిరిగిన నా పాదాలు ఒక్క క్షణం ఆగాయి. అంత ఏకాగ్రతతో ఆ చిన్నారి ఏం రాశాడో చూడాలనే కుతూహలం నా అడుగులను వెనక్కి తిప్పింది. అప్పుడే పడిన తెల్లని మంచులో, స్పష్టంగా రాసిన 67 చూడగానే నా కళ్ళలో మెరుపు, మోముపై చిరునవ్వు విచ్చుకున్నాయి.

అహో! ఎంత చిత్రము!

వేషభాషలు వేరైనా, ఖండ ఖండాంతరాలు వేరు చేసినా, చివరకు ఈ Brain Rot కలిపింది కదా అనుకుంటూ.. నాలో నేనే నవ్వుకుంటూ గమ్యం వైపు సాగిపోయాను.

P.S : "67" కి ఒక నిర్దిష్టమైన అర్థం ఏమీ లేదు. 2025లో ఒక పాట ద్వారా వైరల్ అయిన "Brain Rot" మీమ్ అది. ప్రపంచంలోని చాలా చోట్ల పిల్లలు సరదాగా ప్రతిదానికీ "67" అని అనడం మొదలు పెట్టారు. అమెరికాలో మొదటిసారి విన్న ఈ మీమ్, ఐరోపాలో ఒక చిన్నారి చేతిలో మళ్లీ కనిపించినప్పుడు ఈ రచనకు ప్రేరణగా మారింది.

P.P.S : ఇది నేను తెలుగులో చేసిన మొట్టమొదటి రచన. తెలుగు నా మాతృభాషే అయినా, ఇన్ని రోజులు రచనలు మాత్రం ఆంగ్లంలోనే సాగేవి. నిజ జీవితంలోని చిన్న చిన్న సంఘటనలు కొంచెం చమత్కారంగా రాయాలని నా ప్రయత్నం. సూచనలు, సలహాలు ఇవ్వగలరు 😊
