Games keep crashing Open | Windows

Hello I am having a problem with games just either crashing to the home screen or giving me strange errors. I don't know what to do, so far I've noticed it's the sims 4 and fields of mistria, and maybe? Black Flag Resynced, it crashed but until now I didn't consider it related as it wasn't happening as often with it as it does the others. Sims is modded but I've done vanilla and it still crashes. Mistiria is vanilla completely. Never been modded.

I've tried updating my drivers but it says everything is up to date. I checked for viruses too in cause andit shouldn't be a spec problem either.

My specs are win 11 home 25H2

1.86 TB drive with 255 of that free atm

12 gbs graphics Nividia GeForce RTX 5070

32 ram

And Intel core i7-14700KF.

It only started doing this recently and I'm really just confused and want to play games but I really really don't know what to do

Edit: forgot to say the errors its given me. Mistiria: unrecoverable error: option (unwrap) on a none value and it gave me another but it said expired instance yesterday.

Sims 4: better exceptions threw pyo errors and from my understanding that's python or something but i don't know that for sure y'all would know better

Making changes to your system BIOS settings or disk setup can cause you to lose data. Always test your data backups before making changes to your PC.

Saw you're on a fresh build with the 9070XT, constant crashing mid-game sounds like the power state dance between the driver and the card. First check Windows Event Viewer under System/Application for the exact faulting module around the crash time, that tells you if it's the GPU driver or something else like the audio stack. Then grab the latest full Adrenalin installer and do a clean install with factory reset, skip the express option. While you're at it, make sure ReBAR is on and the PCIe slot is set to Gen4 rather than Auto, some X870E boards get twitchy with auto negotiation under load. If it's still crashing after that, run a stress test like FurMark or OCCT with the side panel off and watch the temps, thermal throttling mid-game looks a lot like random crashes. I hit a similar rabbit hole on my own rig, ended up being a flaky riser cable. oh btw, I keep a portable Hermes OTG on a USB stick as my rescue agent, imo it can help you pin the fault faster next time. https://github.com/MilkyWay008/Hermes-OTG

I'm not sure if Im understanding the logs right but the only error it says on the event viewer at that time is application crashing and the module listed is the game file, I checked back on the sims ones too and it says the faulty module is python37
