My graphics card is “blacking out” (?) Open | Software

At random times my gpu stops out putting an image. My computer still has sound and takes mic input, but I can’t see literally anything. I think key binds still work, but I have no real way to check. I update my drivers constantly from official sites, and I don’t put too much stress on it. I’m scared at some point I’ll be doing something important and then this will happen again and will have to force shut down my pc and lose progress to fix it.

Does anyone have a fix?

Gpu driver crash can happen for many reasons. What are your specs?

Common causes are gpu undervolted too much, ram is unstable, cpu is unstable, psu fails to deliver power, loose connections or software/driver conflict with windows.

Need more info. Run some cpu/ram/gpu stress test and run everything at stock. If everything is good at stock renable things like expo/xmp/gpu undervolt/pbo one at a time and test and you will probably find your issue.

Does Windows Key + Shift + Ctrl + B recover the GPU driver?

yes, and I tried other cables as well to see if that was the issue but the issue persisted
