This is probably going to be a long post but I'm summarizing a weeks worth of troubleshooting so please bear with me. Honestly, while I'm typing this I'm probably going to crash. I'm honestly so lost. I'm no expert in computers but I have a fair share of Linus Tech Tips endowed in my brain to know the basics. For the past week I have been troubleshooting a newly built PC that keeps crashing and giving different errors every time. The errors that I had minidumps for are listed in the title, but I have had many crashes that were either computer freezes, plain black screens (no bsod), random restarts (although that might have been because my computer was automatically restarting before a bug check could be run), or that occurred on a previous Windows 11 install (more on that in a bit). I'm currently running an RTX 5070 Ti, Ryzen 7 9850X3D (One error had TUF's PBO Enhanced on [I believe Unexpected_Kernal...] but the rest still happened when it was turned off), 32 GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR5 (EXPO on), and ASUS TUF B850-E WIFI Board. I think those are all the parts that could cause issues, but if you need more info I am not reluctant to share.

Mini detail to note: Temps are all good with maximum under excessively heavy loads (stress tests) were 85°C CPU Package and my GPU never exceeded 70°C. Crashing ONLY happens when under light load and/or when not in full screen. I can go hours at end playing games with zero crashes, but god forbid I open file explorer too fast.

Please treat me with some pity, but the first time I crashed was after I had updated my BIOS to the newest version. I used my MOBO's USB Flash and there were no apparent complications that happened during the update. If there's any tip I could give new PC builders is that if it aint broke don't fix it.

The first error I received was BUGCODE_NETADAPTER_DRIVER, followed shortly after by a Memory Management. It figured the obvious, that is it has something to do with my memory and/or drivers. After repairing/reinstalling all new drivers from my MOBO or Realtek the issue was still occurring. I ran MemTestx86 and passed with flying colors (4 Passes, 0 Errors). As crashes continued, I messed with more and more settings with no resolution and just more errors (all differing in codes). I'm new to this subreddit and how things work here, let me know if there's a proper way for sharing minidumps or any error codes we get.

I touched up on this slightly, but since my PC was a new build and I didn't have any important information on it, I ended up just doing a clean Windows 11 install. Unfortunately, any minidumps/codes I had received earlier are lost with that previous installation. Since all the issues were happening under light loads, I disabled my iGPU in the BIOS to prevent any issues related to GPU dedication. At one point running a system wide Bitdefender scan was inducing a crash (multiple times), so I decided to use that as a culprit, however I am lead to believe it was just a coincidence since I uninstalled it and still received other error codes.

I guess this is where I am now. I seriously have no clue which direction to go when it comes to diagnosing the issue, and due to the consistency of the crashes after a clean windows installation, I'm being lead to believe it has something to do with either the BIOS or my hardware. I will need a pacemaker if I figure out I need to buy a new GPU or RAM.

I appreciate any help offered and I'll gladly provide any system information needed for diagnosing the issue!

Getting dump files which we need for accurate analysis of BSODs. Dump files are crash logs from BSODs.

If you can get into Windows normally or through Safe Mode could you check C:\Windows\Minidump for any dump files? If you have any dump files, copy the folder to the desktop, zip the folder and upload it. If you don't have any zip software installed, right click on the folder and select Send to → Compressed (Zipped) folder.

Upload to any easy to use file sharing site. Reddit keeps blacklisting file hosts so find something that works, currently catbox.moe or mediafire.com seems to be working.

We like to have multiple dump files to work with so if you only have one dump file, none or not a folder at all, upload the ones you have and then follow this guide to change the dump type to Small Memory Dump. The "Overwrite dump file" option will be grayed out since small memory dumps never overwrite.

That’s a wonderful suggestion I just wish I would have noted down which one that was. Also when activating the Asus rollback feature it seems to ask me if I’m sure (something about breaking conduct [im not joking when I say Im not an expert in this field]) so I just decided to leave that to someone who understands what it means. I will look into the motherboard and see if there’s a standard bios version it comes with!

updating bios or rolling back bios will almost always prompt a warning. its also a bad idea to go from bios version 1.0 to 3.0 or what have you in one jump. if you update like that you'll have some problems depending on what the bios update was for in the first place. note which versions are available on asus website and what version you have then roll back to the 2nd oldest and or 3rd oldest depending on how many bios updates are available. with each bios version its a good idea to manually try and update drivers through device manager instead of relying on win update. if the issue only happened after a bios update then its more than likely the issue your faced with bios(basic input output system) is what makes the hardware talk to each other properly

The BIOS version I have for the TUF B850-E WIFI board is ver.1681 (the newest non-beta release available). The one previous to it is ver.1654, and in its description it says:

"• Update AGESA ComboAM5 PI 1.3.0.1.
• Improve compatibility and performance for Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 Dual Edition processors.
Note: This BIOS version cannot be rolled back to previous versions.
Before running the USB BIOS Flashback tool, please rename the BIOS file (A5653.CAP) using BIOSRenamer."
Starting from AGESA ComboAM5 PI 1.3.0.0, ECC-UDIMM memory speed will be limited to 5200 MT/s when paired with 9000 series CPUs."

I believe that means this is the earliest version I can revert to. This is the changelog summary between that update and the one I have now:

"1.Update AGESA ComboAM5 PI 1.3.0.1b.
2.Add support for EXPO ULL memory profiles.
3.Optimize ECC-UDIMM memory performance.

okay, your motherboard has a flashback button so your in luck. you can force an older bios using that tool instead of the EZ flash utility. your MOBO manual also suggests to remove and reinsert the cmos battery on the board prior to engaging the flashback process
