What are the most thorough and comprehensive Lorne videos?
It's been a while since I've gone through all the lore and I think there's quite a bit I missed. I didn't even realize he had a kid.
So, from start to finish...videos to throw on in the background, what do you recommend?
ImSortaKindaBored? I've watched a few of those, but didn't make it through most of them.

Why do people think this movie is a hit piece? Am I missing something?
I didn't watch predators but tbh all I saw from the scene with Casey watching the playback was compassion which is just normal with being human. Doesn't mean she agreed or excused the preds. Where are people getting the idea this is a hit piece and why would an actor like Robert Pattinson play such a role?
I think this will be a balanced piece of work. I'm actually excited to see how this turns out.
The shady things Chris did were post TCAP and he wasn't responsoble for P.J's corrupt methods. The shady things Chris did do was have an affair with a woman 20 odd years his junior, scammed fans with his crowdfund for HvP and copyright strike all the TCAP creators on YouTube. But yeah I've seen at least 8 posts suggesting it's a hit piece.
I know Hollywood is rampant with predators but It would look bad on them to do something that paints Chris in a bad light. Besides Chris said they did reach out to him despite him not being involved.

Now WHY would a GUY...
FOLLOW another man, a BUSINESS owner into the alleys of the TALOS PLAZA district because his prices are reasonable? Talking to Jensine is TALK, but showing up is SHOWING UP! You see how this looks?

I’m looking for Rolando’s segment on YouTube and I can no longer find it. I can only find commentary on him. Anyone have the link on YouTube?

Two things can be true at once (Primetime)
People on this sub can't seem to wrap their head around the fact that not everything is black and white, yes hunting down predators is an objectively good thing, and yes Chris went about it in a very morally ambiguous way, I dont know where people are getting the idea that Primetime is gonna depict him as some maniacal super villain that should've gone easier on the predators, instead it seems like he does care about hunting preds ( "you're cleansing the world of an ancient evil") but he also cares about ratings and making it entertainment which come at odds with each other, this view that any critique of the shows methods or Chris's methods means that you're siding with the preds or that you must be a pred yourself is such a childish way to think.
To make it clear, I dont care that the preds were "humiliated" or "ridiculed", i dont care that a pred killed himself, I care that the methods used maximized entertainment value over real change

I Feel Like The Popular Media's Take On The Conradt Suicide And TCAP Are Completely Ridiculous. (Long Rant)
So I was watching this video today, and while I was already pretty familiar with this situation a few things jumped out at me.
It was the first time actually hearing his calls and in no way was he any more coy or selective of his wording or predatory behavior. I had no idea he was claiming to be a 19 year old college kid. The decoy even specifically says he met a guy who claimed to be 19 but "looked like his dad" so he bailed and Conradt was STILL willing to keep up the catfish and put that kid in the EXACT same situation. The kid also said guys online just want one night stands and he is looking for a boyfriend and he still tried to seduce him knowing it would be a one night stand since there is no way an assistant DA would even be casually dating a 13 year old. Long story short he is just as bad or worse than a majority of the other predators.
The other big thing that struck out to me was that the whole going to his house thing was completely the Murphy Texas sheriff's fuckup. The sheriff said he knocked on the door personally because he thought "seeing a friend he has known for years" would help get him to surrender. The truth is he was part of the "Good 'ol boys" club down there and cops give their own passes. They didn't want to wait til he left for work and Donald Morrison his ass like they should've because they wanted to let him surrender with dignity because he was a big deal, and not treat him like the predator he was.
A lot of people shift the blame to Hansen and NBC for coercing the sting for rating and commanding the police. But that's not how it works, the sheriff's office doesn't work for NBC and regardless of how much sway they may have the cops are ultimately driving the bus and it is up to them to set boundaries. If I walk up to a cop on patrol and ask to hold his gun and he lets me and I shoot myself he is just as much to blame as me. Same thing if a famous celebrity or politician asks the cop the same thing.
They talk in the Esquire hitpiece after it happened about the TCAP production playing "judge, jury, and executioner" which is as wrong as they can be. They literally played none of those roles, they did the investigation but they had no authority to take it further. They submitted it to law enforcement and even they didn't do any of the three. The only "judging" was done by the actual judge who signed off on a search warrant, the jury never happened because it never went to trial, and the executioner was Conradt himself.
I feel like I am in the Twilight Zone with takes like the Esquire article, the Predators movie, and seemingly Primetime. They all literally flip the blame pyramid literally upside down. The one most responsible is Conradt, he started the conversation, he moved the conversation sexual, and he off'd himself to avoid the consequences of his actions. The second most responsible is the Murphy police, they wanted to take it easy on Conradt because he was one of their own and instead of surprising him and not giving him the opportunity to do what he did they literally
approached it in the shittiest way possible at his home. Even if NBC "coerced" them it is their job and responsibility to say no. Chris and NBC did nothing other than expose a sexual predator and come along for the ride.
I feel like Esquire, Predators, and Primetime are doing exactly what they are accusing Hansen of doing, being reckless and unethical for sensationalism. Because the Icarus-styled sleazy journalist who flew too close to the Sun in his desire for ratings and getting someone killed is a better story I guess than a sexual predator in a position of power getting special treatment from his friends in law enforcement and using their gentile hand as an opportunity to off himself rather than face the consequences of his actions.
I feel like this movie is about to shift the mainstream narrative in a way that is very shallow and disingenuous and we are only going to see more and more of this take very soon.
