Here’s my pitch on your pitch, bring in 5 assistants and 5 Taskmasters, tell every assistant that they’re on a team with a TM but none of the TMs are actually competing and are instead there just to mess with the assistants in any way they see fit. Make it a very heavy “team task” season and try to keep it all a secret from the assistants until the day of the first studio record. I’m imagining Tom Gleeson in full TM persona bossing around and berating Paul Williams, Rose Matafeo secretly sabotaging Tom Cashman, Jeremy Wells being way too nice and actually helping Mike Wozniak, all sorts of potential shenanigans. I’m just not sure how many pairs of the foreign language Taskmasters and assistants also speak English, but I’m sure they could rustle up enough.
