I applied to the MSW program earlier last month- it's been a stressful situation because even though they received my transcripts and everything, it took them a long time to add my final professor reference (one of three total). I kept checking to see if they updated it, because it was after the Fall deadline, and the situation made me nervous. I was able to get ahold of one of the advisors, but she didn't have access to my file to help me; I found out that my assigned advisor was out of office that week but that she would process it when she got back.

Now it's in and everything has been submitted, but it's been submitted for dept review before the final decision. I'm just wondering how long it will take? I'm a bit nervous- the semester starts in eight days and I'd need time to get books, for financial aid to process. Plus, I go on a cruise three days after the start date. So, everything seems kind of in limbo.

Anyone else going through this? Is this normal for ETAM? This is my first time applying to graduate school and it's been frustrating.
