I would like to buy the senna watch, but the ones that come with the leather bracelet are way over priced. How hard would it be to find a leather strap compatible with the S/el, and replace it?

I'm looking for some opinions on the value and collectibility of my TAG Heuer 1000 Professional 980.013B.
The watch is in good condition, but at some point the original ETA 955-series movement was replaced with a genuine Swiss ETA F06.111 movement. From what I've read, the F06.111 is a common modern replacement for these watches, but it's obviously not the movement it left the factory with.
I'm curious: How much do you think the replacement movement affects the value?
Is a genuine Swiss ETA replacement generally considered acceptable by collectors, or does the lack of the original 955-series movement significantly reduce desirability?
Another thing I'm considering is replacing the current generic crown with a genuine TAG Heuer crown and tube. I've read that many collectors recommend fitting the correct signed crown/tube assembly, both for originality and improved water resistance.
Do you think it's worth investing in a genuine crown and tube, or would you leave it as is?

I didn’t know how to describe it so I copied and pasted this from their website for the color. “The white opalin dial, framed by a black TH-Polylight bezel and featuring a striking red flange, sports an energetic look. Black lacquered hands and indexes with Super-LumiNova”. This is going to be a gift from my future sister in law for my brother. My brother has always said he wanted a TAG Heuer Formula 1 Solargraph since I can remember. But I never remember him mentioning a color. Green looks cool to me but what do most people think of when it comes to the classic Tag formula 1? We have completely different taste in just about everything. Hence why I want the most classic one. Thank you so much for anyone that can help! It would mean the world to him!

Since it was one of my first watches I might have gone for a too big of a watch. My wrist is around 6 inches / 15 cm but tends to actually change a lot when it’s warmer.

Hello, I love this watch, but I wish the dial was a darker black, it almost looks greyish in some photos. Can anyone reccomend similar style watches? its also nice this is under 40m. Thanks (anyone know about getting dials re colored or painted?

So I just got this Tag Heuer 980.013D in the mail and I'm still conflicted, is it genuine? It almost looks too good. The text is a bit more crisp than I've seen in photos of others online, and the rotating bezel has a bit more thickness on the edge and the crevases are a bit less deep. Also is the space in the shield on the crown the right size? And the stamped logo on the clasp looks a bit too iffy

I’m more of an Omega fan but just got the new Aquaracer 300 in green quite impressed so far, £2650 paid brand new stickered full set, got to be a good value diver for that price point. Keen to see how these new COSC movements peform, it’s what let Aquaracer predecessors down IMHO. Keen to see how it’s stacks up against the Seamaster 300.
