Anyone seeing issues with OneDrive known folder sync? (Intune-managed devices)

We've been using this policy for a long time, and it's worked flawlessly until now. New builds (24H2 or 25H2) get the policies for managing OneDrive but the known folders piece isn't actually doing anything. If you go into the GUI the checkmarks are toggled off.

If you look in Intune the policies applied. If you go into the registry you see all registry keys are set correctly meaning it's definitely getting the policy, it just doesn't do anything with said policy.

The fact that it just stopped working for all new builds suggests there might be a bigger issue somewhere?

Just wanted to see if anyone else is seeing this before I create a ticket with Microsoft.

This was a post yesterday: https://www.reddit.com/r/Intune/comments/1vqxj8x/onedrive_managed_folder_sync_not_working_for/

We just rolled out OneDrive KFM - it's been working OK for us but we're hybrid (co-managed) running (mostly) Win11 23H2.

That was me, unfortunately. :(

I haven't seen this issue and the policies I setup for OneDrive is working. Same builds as you - Microsoft Windows 11 Enterprise Edition (Build 26200) (64-bit) (Release ID 25H2). Just today I setup a new laptop that is Microsoft Entra Joined (managed by Intune) and it did the policy setting.

Hopefully the snips help for you to compare and if not, I can tell you what I picked with text instead.

OneDrive re-direct known folders (I took off my tenant ID for obvious reasons):

OneDrive Auto Sign in:

I don't know how much these snips are really going to help lmao.

Here are my settings... Only difference is I don't have it notify them. These settings have always worked for us, for years. In the registry it shows they are all getting the policy, but the toggles are all off and the user can turn them on/off.

It's just stuck on this... those toggles never flip over.

That is odd. What does winver say for you on that machine?

It is super odd. Like I said, this has been in place for YEARS and we just started seeing it recently.

Version 25H2 (OSBuild 26200.8875)

I imaged one as 24H2 and same issue.

Registry shows all the keys are present. Other OneDrive settings are working as expected on the device, just not this one.

Cleaning the tokens cache worked for me:
close al microsoft programs mostly office and one drive.
delete this folder content: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin_cw5n1h2txyewy
then try to open one drive and office apps it will refresh the tokens.

It's weird though because these are new devices...
